In the 20 th century,China is in the great transformation of social transformation.People's lifestyle,aesthetic orientation and modeling interest have all changed,and meticulous figure painting has gradually undergone a qualitative change in appearance.From the warring states period,sui and tang dynasties,five dynasties,song,yuan,Ming and qing dynasties to the period of China's democratic revolution and the founding of new China,from the embryonic form of the original figure painting to modern and contemporary times,Chinese meticulous figure painting has experienced several ups and downs.Since the ultimate goal of Chinese meticulous figure painting creation is to express its spiritual connotation through the image of characters,figure painting should not only pay attention to the image in the technical level,but also pay attention to the typical image and personality,in order to reflect the painter's understanding of the work and the spiritual cultivation of the work.Gu kaizhi of the eastern jin dynasty put forward the idea of "writing god in form" throughout the history of Chinese art,from the earliest philosophical discussion on the issue of form and spirit to painting aesthetics,and later on,painting,sculpture,drama,dance are involved and applied.Through the ages,artists in different levels of "shape write god" has put forward a new understanding,in the contemporary Chinese painting figure painting,"to write god" is a important aesthetic thought to pursue and do not abandon,especially after western visual impact,find themselves in a graphic language in a wide range of language symbols to reflect the objective things,express our emotions,we should attach importance to "shape write god" value.The influx of foreign cultures can only add to the icing on the cake of Chinese painting and cannot completely replace the fine traditions of our nation.Contemporary meticulous figure painting should inherit the tradition and innovate.It should not only adhere to the traditional aesthetic thought of "writing god with form",but also integrate new expressive techniques,so as to stand the test of The Times.This paper mainly takes the background of China since the 20 th century as the time point,based on the current general meticulous figure painting education system,from three aspects of theoretical concepts,phenomenon cases,theoretical reflection,five chapters are discussed.The first chapter is the introduction,clarifying the research background,research status and research purpose.The second chapter discusses the evolution of "god in form" from classical aesthetics to modern theory,and theoretically analyzes the concept of "god in form" to clarify the source and realize the transformation of this concept in ancient and modern times.The third chapter is about the multiple manifestations of the concept of "writing god in form" in the application of contemporary meticulous figure painting.In the fourth chapter,after theoretical analysis and practical elaboration,theoretical reflection is made to explain that although the aesthetic concept of "writing god by shape" is a traditional aesthetic concept,it provides a new idea for the process of contemporary meticulous figure painting and puts forward a method that can be used for reference for the perfection and development of contemporary meticulous figure painting.Chapter five is the conclusion.The aesthetic concept of "writing god by shape" has the vitality to continue.We should inherit the essence of Chinese traditional culture,pay attention to the present,present with better picture artistic conception,and eulogize the era.
