British Indian post-colonial writer V.S.Naipaul enjoys a high reputation in the world of literature, completing more than 30 works in his more than half a century of creative career. In his works,vivid,full,three-dimensional and profound male characters can be found everywhere, while the female image in Naipaul's works are quite a weak sense of existence. This paper that chooses the female image in Naipaul's works as a point and takes the female characters in various period of representative works of the writer as the research object,to probe into the cultural identity of the writer himself which are hidden behind the stereotyped image and the cultural connotations in the works so as to further explore the writing motivation of female images in the eyes of Naipaul's male perspective. This paper classifies the women in Naipaul's novel, and on the basis of the combination of the text, the writer's deep spiritual world with depth and contents is further dug out in many aspects. After the analysis and the discussion of this paper,we can see that the denounce and the slander of the female from Naipaul is not just the bad result of the innate male chauvinism thought. Moreover,it is closely related to the religious customs and national traditions of the writer's experience in early time and the social experiences since then.
