Scholars have studied and reconstructed the Sound system of middle Chinese phonetic for many times.From the results we can know that the two initials(the Yusi(??)and the Lingual initials)are separate and distinct.However,there are a number of characters in two rhymes dictionaries 'Guangyun' and 'Jiyun'.They both have the Yusi(??)and the Lingual initials two kinds of initials.It shows the complex relationship between the Yusi(??)and the Lingual initials.The paper in order to examine the origin and the nature of these two kinds of pronunciation,after analyzing and introducing the case of the Yusi(??)and the Lingual initials in the period of“Guangyun”and“Jiyun”.First,we used the form of a table to count the characters of two books,and divided them to three large blocks about the dental,the retroflex and the lateral to show respectively,at the same time,made a comparative analysis of the characters between the two books.Then,we made necessary examinations for these characters' pronunciation,and deleted the error.We examined the origin of these pronunciation from rhymes dictionaries and sound notes of previous generation.See from the results,we found that 156 words of pronunciation could be found,but there were also106 words could not be found.In addition to the reason for not seeing the material,such reading may be the actual record of the pronunciation at that time.Finally,we made some examinations on the relationship between text fonts and multi-mixed reading.
