Study On Medical Literature Of "Journey To The West"

In recent years,the research on medicine-involving literature has gradually become the focus of attention,and the study of medical contents from literary works has a certain role in medical history enrichment.The Ming Dynasty was an era in which novels flourished.A large number of novels came out.Among them,since the birth of the novel "Journey to the West",many scholars have done research on various aspects.In addition to the general view of authors,themes,version history,and religious culture,the perspective of medical health care is also involved.However,with regard to medical content,most scholars only intercept some of them.Because of different angles and different needs,there is no comprehensive systematic study on the medical health content of “Journey to the West”.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to make up for the lack of research on the medicine of "Journey to the West",to let readers have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the medicine and health care of "Journey to the West",to appreciate the characteristics of medicine,the characteristics of vegetarian culture,and the characteristics of Neidan alchemy.The research method is sorting out the medicines involved in "Journey to the West" and the contents of Neidan health care,analyzing the Chinese medicine theory as a framework,combining traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)classics with Taoist classics,striving to deeply analyze the medicine involved in "Journey to the West" and connotation of Neidan health care,and getting a brief comment of its medical health features.The main content of the introduction is about the definition of medicine-involving literature and its general research situation,the research on the medical health content of “Journey to the West”,the research methods and research significance of this paper.The body is divided into four parts.The first part is an overview of the academic history of “Journey to the West”,including the common research problems since the publication of “Journey to the West”,the overview of academic research,and theselection of versions.The second part is about the carding of the medicine-involving literature in "Journey to the West".According to the basic theory of TCM,diagnosis of TCM,prescription,disease,symptom signs,medical allusion,vegetarian health,and Neidan health care,I analyzed its connotation in depth.The third part is to comment on the medicine and Neidan health characteristics of "Journey to the West".It is summarized that this part involves the comprehensive basic theory of TCM,the medicine has literary interest,the prescription is strict,the vegetarian health culture is outstanding,the Neidan alchemy is distinctive,and the medical allusion is rich.The fourth part discusses the cultural value,medical academic value and inadequacies of the medical literature combining its background of the times.The conclusion part summarizes the whole paper."Journey to the West" has rich cultural connotations,and its medical health content is practical,not only professional,but also has mythological characteristics.It can be seen from the development of medicine in the Ming Dynasty and has a high value of discussion."Journey to the West" has a positive significance in the spread of Chinese medicine culture.The results of the study are as follows: through the systematic analysis of the medical literature of "Journey to the West",I found that "Journey to the West" has plenty of the vegetarian menu,and the medical knowledge in it is rich.The Neidan lyrics throughout the story reveals the development of the Ming Dynasty medicine,and it has a high medical academic and cultural communication value.
