Research purposes This study is mainly based on the tutor’s director Gao Jing’s many years of clinical experience, combined with specific clinical cases, guided by the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the principles of syndrome differentiation and treatment, observing the clinical efficacy and safety of the traditional medicine Tongying Decoction combined with prednisone acetate tablets in the treatment of sub-acute thyroiditis heat toxin syndrome through clinical research.we can provide theoretical basis and effective therapeutic drugs to evaluate the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine on Subacute thyroiditis, and provide Chinese medicine for the prevention and treatment of this disease Scientific basis.Research method A total of 62 patients who met the criteria for inclusion and discharge were selected from the endocrinology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and randomly divided into two groups,31 in each group.Optimistic and relaxed mood. The control group was given prednisone acetate tablets after meals, the initial dose of 10 mg orally, three times a day.The dosage can be adjusted according to the Changes in patient symptoms. On the basis of the control group, the treatment group was given Tongying Decoction,150 ml each time, twice a day,for 8 weeks. Before treatment, compare the general condition of the two groups of patients [sex, age, course of disease],and focus on recording the thyroid function(FT3,FT4,TSH),red blood cell sedimentation rate,TCM symptoms and signs scores, safety indicators and other data before and after treatment. The statistical analysis of the data using SPSS17 statistical software to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the traditional medicine Tongying Decoction combined with prednisone acetate in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis.Research result1.General situation There were no significant differences in gender, age, and degree of disease before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05),suggesting that the baselines of the two groups were basically the same, and the treatment group was comparable with the control group.2.Thyroid hormone situation Before treatment, the two groups were compared between groups, after testing, there was no statistical difference(P>0.05),suggesting that the two groups are comparable. After 8 weeks of treatment, the differences in serum FT3,FT4,and TSH between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that after treatment, the thyroid hormone levels in the treatment group and the control group were improved. After 8 weeks of treatment, the differences in serum FT3,FT4,and TSH between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that improvement of serum FT3,FT4,and TSH in the treatment group was better than in the control group.3.Red blood cell sedimentation rate Before treatment, the two groups were compared between groups, after testing, there was no statistical difference(P>0.05),suggesting that the two groups are comparable. After 8 weeks of treatment, the two groups were compared with in the group. The difference of ESR between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups could improve ESR after treatment. After 8 weeks of treatment, the differences in ESR between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that improvement of ESR in the treatment group was better than in the control group.4.Antipyreticr time and the disappearance time of thyroid pain after treatment After treatment,it was found that the antipyretic time and the disappearance time of thyroid pain in the treatment group was faster than those in the control group(P < 0.05).5.Comparing the score of TCM syndromes After 8 weeks of treatment, the two groups were compared with in the group. The difference of the TCM syndrome scores of between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups could improve the TCM syndrome scores of after treatment. After 8 weeks of treatment, the differences in the TCM syndrome scores between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that improvement the patient’s anterior neck swelling, pain, fever, palpitations, irritability,in the treatment group was better than in the control group.6.The curative effect of TCM SyndromesAfter 8 weeks of treatment, the treatment group of TCM syndrome treatment efficiency(96.67%)is better than the control group of TCM syndrome treatment efficiency(79.31%),the difference is statistically significant(P< 0.05).7.Total clinical efficacy After 8 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group(93.54%)was better than that of the control group(72.41%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).8.Safety During the treatment period of this study, the blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, liver function, renal function, blood pressure and other safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment were normal,no obvious adverse reactions occurred, and the safety was good.Research conclusion The traditional medicine Tongying Decoction combined with prednisone acetate tablets has a good effect on the treatment of subacute thyroiditis of heat-toxin congestion type,in improving the clinical symptoms of patients(such as goiter, thyroid pain, etc.),Improve the antipyreticr time and thyroid pain time, reducing the syndrome score of traditional Chinese medicine, improving the thyroid function and erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and improving the clinical treatment effect. And less adverse reactions,in the guidance of the treatment of subacute thyroiditis, has clinical value.
