Objectives:The changes of predisposing factors and related biochemical indexes of hospitalized patients with chronic skin ulcer of lower limbs in The Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalitiesin the past 5 years were retrospectively analyzed and the characteristics of related clinical predisposing factors were discussed. Then preventive measures were proposed,so as to provide positive and effective clinical basis for prevention and treatment of chronic skin ulcer of lower limbs.Materials and Methods : 562 confirmed cases with chronic wounds on lower limb were collected from The Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities reported from January 1,2013 to December 31,2018.The epidemiological chronic wounds on lower limb were described and factors associated with disease outcome were discussed with logistic regression analysis. From January 1,2013 to December 31,2018,562 patients with chronic skin ulcer of lower limbs, whose domiciles were Guangxi,Yunnan and Guizhou, were hospitalized in The Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities. These patients, whose case data were completed, were retrospectively analyzed.Clinical data including age(age of 15-85,average age 60.2 ±13.77 years,363 males and 199 females;65 young patients,118 middle-aged patients and 379 elderly patients),basic diseases, such as blood sugar, liver function, blood lipid, serum TGF-β1 and VEGF concentration, etc.,were noticed, and the bacterial culture results of the first ulcer surface secretion during hospitalization were recorded.SPSS 17.0 software was applied to process and analyze all the data obtained in this study. Results: Out of 562 patients with chronic wounds on lower limb,363 were male(64.6%),379 aged people(67.5%),292 Guangxi cadastral patients(52.0%),182 diabetic patients(32.4%),76 patients with pseudomonas aeruginosa(25.6%).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that ALB,FBG,TGF-β1 and VEGF were risky factors for chronic wounds on lower limb. Conclusion:The major influencing factors for the outcome of chronic wounds on lower limb are old male of Guangxi nationality, diabetes, and with pseudomonas aeruginosa. Therefore, effective measures should be taken in these patients to improve the prognosis.
