Observation On The Efficacy And Safety Of Tiao Geng Tang And Auricular Points In The Treatment Of Menopausal Syndrome

Objects:Through the observation of the efficacy and safety of Tiao Geng Tang and auricular points in the treatment of menopausal syndrome,it provides a safe and effective TCM treatment for clinical treatment of menopausal syndrome.Methods:The 90 samples of this study were collected from Longhua Hospital and Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital.The patients collected by Longhua Hospital were randomly divided into groups according to 1:1.That is 30 cases in the Chinese medicine group,30 cases in the Chinese medicine + auricular points group,.The patients collected in the Sixth People’s Hospital were included in the western medicine group,.That is 30 cases in the western medicine group.Chinese medicine group is treated with Tiao Geng Tang.Chinese medicine + auricular points group is treated with Tiao Geng Tang+auricular points.Western medicine group is treated with Femoston.28 days is a course of treatment and treatment for 3 courses.Before and after treatment,we need to observe changes in the modified Kupperman Index,Menopause Rating Scale(MRS),TCM syndrome scale,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating depression scale(SDS),sex hormones,and safety indicators such as liver and kidney function,gynecological B-ultrasound.The efficacy and side effect of Chinese medicine and auricular points for treating menopausal syndrome was evaluated by comparing the changes of the three groups.Results:1、The KI scores of the three groups decreased significantly with the increase of the course of treatment(P<0.01),and there was no significant difference in the scores between the three groups(P>0.05).2、The MRS scores of the three groups decreased significantly with the increase of the course of treatment(P<0.01).The MRS scores of the Chinese medicine and auricular points group and the western medicine group were larger than those of the traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).3、The scores of TCM clinical syndromes in the three groups of treatments were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01).The total effective rate of Chinese medicine and auricular points is 86.66%,the total effective rate of Chinese medicine is 83.33%,and the total effective rate of western medicine is 43.33%.The comparison of single symptom scores showed that Western medicine had no significant effect on dry mouth and tinnitus(P>0.05),while Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine and auricular points could significantly improve dry mouth and tinnitus(P<0.01).The three groups were effective in treating hot flashes,sweating,insomnia,dizziness,inner heat of hand and feet,and low back and leg pain(P<0.01),and there was no significant difference between the three groups(P>0.05).4、The PSQI scores of the three groups decreased with the increase of the course of treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease of the Chinese medicine and auricular group was larger than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group(P<0.05).5、The SAS and SDS scores of the Chinese medicine group and the Chinese medicine and auricular group decreased with the increase of the course of treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of the two groups were almost the same(P>0.05).The SAS and SDS scores of the western medicine group did not decrease significantly(P>0.05).6、The levels of serum FSH and LH in the three groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the degree of decline was basically the same(P>0.05).The serum E2 levels in the three groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P< 0.01),but the increase of Chinese medicine group,Chinese medicine and auricular group was not as obvious as that of western medicine group(P<0.01).7、No abnormal changes were found in liver and kidney function and uterine B-ultrasound in the three groups before and after treatment.There are 1 cases of diarrhea in the Chinese medicine group.There is one vaginitis patient in the Chinese medicine and auricular points group.In the western medicine group,1 patient with weight gain.Conclusion:1、Tiao Geng Tang and auricular points can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of menopausal syndrome such as hot flashes,paresthesia,insomnia,mood swings,vaginal dryness,etc.Its curative effect is better than that of Chinese medicine,which is similar to that of Western medicine.2、Tiao Geng Tang and auricular points is better than traditional Chinese medicine in improving TCM syndromes such as hot flashes,insomnia,dizziness,hand and foot heart heat,waist and knees,especially in improving dry mouth,tinnitus and other symptoms.3、Tiao Geng Tang and auricular points is superior to traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in improving sleep quality,regulating anxiety and depression.4、Tiao Geng Tang and auricular points did not significantly improve serum E2 levels in postmenopausal women.5、Tiao Geng Tang and auricular points have no obvious adverse reactions in a short period of time,which is safe and feasible in clinical practice.
