A Preliminary Study On TCM Constitution Identification And Syndrome Elements In 167 Patients Metabolic Syndrome

Objective: This topic explores and summarizes the distribution of Chinese medicine constitutions and syndrome elements in MS patients,as well as constitution types and syndromes by collecting information on the four diagnosis and constitution identification results of patients with metabolic syndrome(MS),using modern data statistical analysis methods The relationship between the phenological factors improves the knowledge of TCM on this disease,in order to guide the clinical syndrome differentiation treatment of this disease,and then provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of this disease.Methods: Through the cross-sectional research method,using the "Metabolic Syndrome Case Observation Table" and "Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification and Judgment" standard(2009),collect 167 cases of metabolic syndrome patients with general information,past history,personal lifestyle,information on the four diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine 1.Results of TCM constitution identification.Then organize the data,establish "metabolic syndrome information database",use Microsoft office Excel 2016,SPSS 21.0,etc.for data analysis,mainly using frequency analysis,analysis of variance,chi-square test and cluster analysis and other methods.Results:1.A total of 167 cases that met the criteria for inclusion were included in this study.Among them,there are 50 males and 117 females,more females than males,the youngest is 47 years old,the oldest is 85 years old,and the average age is 65.2±8.16 years old.87.42% of the people have received secondary school education or above,and the majority are those with secondary school or college education.The distribution of occupations is by staff and cadres,accounting for 62.9% of the total number.There are 101 cases of BMI overweight and obese,accounting for 60.5% of the total number.There were 41 smokers(24.6%)and 25 drinkers(15.0%).2.The results of the study showed that central obesity accounted for the highest proportion of MS components,with 148 cases(88.6%),followed by hypertension/hypertension(80.2%),high fasting blood glucose/diabetes(64.7%),and low fasting high density lipoprotein(64.1%),high fasting triglycerides(50.9%).Among them,there were 103 cases(61.7%)satisfying three rules,47 cases(28.1%)satisfying four rules,and 17 cases(10.2%)satisfying five rules.3.The results of the study showed that there were 24 people with only one constitution,61 with two constitutions,and 82 with three or more constitutions.Among them,blood stasis is the most,accounting for 67.1% of the total number.From high to low,phlegm and dampness,dampness and heat,yin deficiency,yang deficiency,qi deficiency,etc.accounted for 41.3%,33.5%,31.1%,28.7%,and 18.6% of the total number,respectively.4.The results of the study showed that the differences in the physical distribution of MS patients in terms of dietary habits were statistically significant(p<0.05).Among them,the constitution of greasy diet is mainly blood stasis,damp heat,phlegm and dampness.5.The results of the study showed that the pathological elements of 167 MS patients were mainly in the kidney(49.7%),followed by the heart,spleen,stomach,and liver,accounting for 32.9%,25.8%,21.0%,and 19.8%,respectively.Pathogenic factors are mainly blood stasis(41.9%),followed by yang deficiency,water dampness,phlegm turbidity,qi deficiency,heat syndrome,and yin deficiency,accounting for 38.9%,37.1%,34.1%,33.0%,27.0%,and 18.6%,respectively.6.Through cluster analysis and consultation with experts,the six major syndromes of metabolic syndrome were finally determined: deficiency of spleen qi syndrome,deficiency of liver and kidney yin syndrome,deficiency of liver spleen and spleen syndrome,syndrome of phlegm turbidity and obstruction,syndrome of phlegm and heat stasis,Yin Deficiency blood stasis syndrome.7.The results of the study show that the distribution of MS constitution is related to the pathological elements,and the blood stasis quality is closely related to the blood stasis elements;the phlegm and dampness quality are closely related to the qi deficiency,yang deficiency,blood stasis,and water dampness disease elements;Phlegm and turbidity are closely related to the pathogenic elements;Yin deficiency and quality are closely related to yin deficiency and blood stasis;Yang deficiency and quality are closely related to yang deficiency;Qi deficiency and qi deficiency are closely related to the disease.Conclusion:The distribution of TCM constitutions of 167 MS patients mainly consisted of blood stasis,phlegm and dampness,dampness and heat,and yin deficiency.The pathological elements are related to the kidney,heart,and spleen.The basic pathogenesis is insufficient kidney yang,dysfunction of the main blood vessels of the heart,and spleen failure.The pathological elements include blood stasis,yang deficiency,and dampness.The syndrome is characterized by the deficiency of the standard and the combination of the deficiency and reality.Yang deficiency is the basis,and blood stasis and dampness are the targets.The main syndrome types are: deficiency syndrome of spleen qi,syndrome of deficiency of liver,kidney and yin,syndrome of deficiency of liver stagnation and spleen,syndrome of phlegm turbidity and obstruction,syndrome of phlegm heat
