ObjectiveTo understand AIDS knowledge, attitude and sexual behavior of middle aged and elderly people by selecting men aged 50 and above in the parks of xishan district, kunming. To explore the factors influencing AIDS knowledge, attitude and sexual behavior of this group, and to provide references for formulating propaganda and education content, behavior intervention content and working mode to effectively reduce the HIV infection rate of this group in the next stepMethodsIn this study, three parks in Xishan district of Kunming city were selected by the method of current situation research.By using improbability sampling method, eligible subjects were selected for one-to-one questionnaire survey. The questionnaire included the demographic characteristics of men aged 50 and above, knowledge about AIDS and sexual behavior.EpiData3.1 software was used to establish the database, double parallel entry of the questionnaire, and consistency comparison.Finally,spss20.0 was used for data analysis, and frequency analysis,chi-square test and Logistic multivariate analysis were used for statistical description and inference. All statistical tests were double-sided tests, with test level=0.05.The publicity education of AIDS prevention knowledge was given to the subjects after the surveyResults1.Sociodemographic characteristics:A total of 344 valid questionnaires were collected in this study, and the effective questionnaire recovery rate was 95.6%(344/360).The average age of the study subjects was 63.70 years,of which the minimum age was 50 years and the maximum age was 90 years. The age group was mainly 50-70 years old.77.62%(267/344);married/cohabiting accounted for 86.34%(297/344).,13.66%(47/344)of unmarried/divorced/widowed;60.76%(209/344)of primary school education or below,32.85%(113/344)of junior high school,6.40 of high school(secondary school)or higher%(22/344);Living status"Living with a fixed partner" accounted for 74.42%(256/344),"Living alone"accounted for 18.60%(64/344),and "Living with children" accounted for 6.98%(24/344);Amateur activities are mainly based on chess, accounting for 54.65%(188/344);activities are mainly parks, accounting for 59.88%(206/344).2.Knowledge of AIDS-related knowledgeThe awareness rate of AIDS-related knowledge among the "eight national"subjects in this study was 27.6%(95/344).Among the topics related to sexual behavior,27.62%(95/344)of the study participants believed that the correct use of condoms could reduce the transmission of AIDS,and 25.00%(86/344)of the study participants believed that having sex with only one partner could reduce the number of people who transmitted AIDS.A univariate analysis of AIDS awareness showed that the educational level(?2=26.26,P<0.001)had a statistically significant difference in the impact of AIDS knowledge awareness(two-sided test,a=0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that the educational level was primary school and below, and the educational level was junior high school(OR=3.106,95%CI:1.822-5.295),high school(secondary school)and above(OR=3.322,95%CI:1.296-8.514)are more likely to know HIV-related knowledge. When the AIDS test site was known,22.97%(79/344)of the subjects knew the test site. The univariate analysis showed that the educational level of the study subjects(?2=20.12,P<0.001)and knowledge of AIDS knowledge(?2=96.05,P<0.001)had statistically significant differences in the cognition of HIV testing sites. The results of multivariate analysis showed that those who were relatively unaware of AIDS-related knowledge, and those who knew AIDS-related knowledge(OR=12.237,95%CI:6.654-22.505)were more likely to know where to test for AIDS.3.AIDS-related attitudes:79.36%(273/344)of the subjects were discriminatory against HIV-infected persons.Univariate analysis found that the educational level of the subjects(?2=6.214,P=0.045),and knowledge of AIDS knowledge(?2=15.92,P<0.001),the location of HIV testing(?2=18.81,P<0.001)had a significant difference in the impact of discrimination against infected people/patients.The results of multivariate analysis showed that, compared with those who knew the HIV testing location, those who did not know the testing location(OR=2.220,95%CI:1.128-4.366)were more likely to discriminate against infected persons/patientsRegarding attitudes towards free treatment in AIDS countries and avoiding infecting others,a positive attitude accounted for 63.08%(217/344);a negative attitude accounting for 36.92%(127/344)4.Sexual situationIn the past 6 months,86.34%(297/344)of the subjects had regular sexual behaviors,of which 11.78%(35/297)of the subjects had non-fixed sexual partnersNon-fixed sexual partners include 73.80%(62/84)of commercial sex,26.19%(22/84)of non-fixed non-commercial sex,and no homosexual behavior.Among them, the characteristics of commercial sexual behavior among 62 subjects:the place of occurrence was mainly hair salons 33.87%(21/62);the age of commercial sex partners was mainly 40 years and over 69.35%(43/62);the price was less than 100 yuan 90.32%(56/62);in the past 6 months, the frequency of commercial sexual behaviors per month is 1-3 times per month, accounting for 83.87%(52/62);the main reason for commercial sexual behaviors is to meet physiological needs 66.13%(41/62);62 subjects answered that they did not use aiding aids;condom use rate was 85.48%(53/62).Characteristics of non-fixed and non-commercial sexual behaviors in 22 subjects:81.82%(18/22)of the number of sexual partners was the main one;the sexual partners of 22 subjects were all friends and were unclear Fixed non-commercial sex partners with HIV infection status, all answered without using aids;condom use rate was 68.18%(15/22).A univariate analysis was performed on whether non-fixed sexual intercourse occurred within the past 6 months. The results showed that the age of the study subjects(?2=12.87,P=0.002),marital status(?2=173.94,P<0.001),There were statistically significant differences in the effects of living status(?2=121.98,P<0.001)and activity location(?2=8.04,P=0.045)on the occurrence of non-fixed sex.Multivariate analysis showed that compared to living with a regular partner, those who lived alone(OR=7.970,95%CI:2.919-21.758)and lived with their children(OR=5.515,95%CI:1.433-21.227)were more likely Occurrence of non-stationary sex.5.Condomuse25.29%(87/344)of the subjects used condoms, and 74.71%(257/344)of the subjects did not use condoms.Univariate analysis found that the age of the study subjects(?2=8.07,P=0.018),marital status(?2=103.09,P<0.001),living status(?2=62.25,P<0.001),entertainment activities(?2=6.21,P=0.045),whether the occurrence of non-fixed sexual intercourse(?2=81.36,P<0.001)has a statistically significant difference in condom use.Multivariate analysis found that compared with non-fixed sex, subjects who had sex with sex(OR=68.208,95%CI:21.964-211.818)were more likely not to use condomsConclusion and recommendations1.The awareness rate of AIDS prevention knowledge of middle aged and elderly male is generally low in the park of Xishan District,Kunming City, especially the risk awareness of sexual contact transmission.some people in this group have multiple sexual partners, such as commercial sexual partner and other unfixed sexual partner. The risk of HIV transmission is high because low use rate of condoms in this group,HIV/AIDS cases were reported in this group.2.HIV/AIDS prevention publicity and intervention should focus on risk of sexual transmission for the middle-aged and elderly male groups in Xishan District Park of Kunming City.Sexual health and safety warning education should be targeted to this group, promoting to healthy sexual concept and behavior.Through condom promotion, the risk of AIDS transmission may be reduced in this group.
