| Objective:To study the relationship between type 2 diabetes and the functional structure of primary angle-closure glaucoma. Methods:A total of 19 patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma combined with type 2 diabetes from January 2017 to January 2020 from our hospital were collected.A total of 35 eyes were included as the experimental group.Among the glaucoma patients hospitalized in our hospital,24 patients with age-and sex-matched simple primary angle-closure glaucoma were randomly selected and 42 eyes were included as a control group.Compare the 24-2 visual field MD value,PSD value,VFI value,RNFL thickness around the optic disc, intraocular pressure, etc.in patients with type 2 diabetes with PACG and pure PACG.Results:The median PSD value of the 24-2 field of view of patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma with type 2 diabetes was(3.660)dB,which was significantly lower than the median PSD value of patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma without type 2 diabetes(5.640)dB,P <0.05,the difference is statistically significant. The median MD value of the 24-2 field of view of patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma with type 2 diabetes is(7.650)dB,which is significantly lower than the MD value of patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma without type 2 diabetes The median absolute value(11.940)dB,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference in the RNFL thickness around the optic disc,24-2 visual field VFI value and intraocular pressure between the PACG group with type 2 diabetes and the PACG group without type 2 diabetes, and the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion:Patients with PACG with type 2 diabetes had less visual field damage than patients with pure PACG,but there was no specific difference in RNFL thickness around the optic disc. |
