Objective:The thesis tries to explore the clinical, endoscopic and pathological characteristics of serrated lesions via retrospective study with an aim to deepen the understanding of serrated lesions.Methods:148 patients with SSA/P were selected in the study. All of the above said patients were hospitalized at the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 1st,2016 to August 1st,2019.The relevant data of 95 said patients were analyzed and summarized in the thesis.Results:1.The age of 95 SSA/P patients were between 20 and 80,with an average age of(55.57?11.57)years old.The number of patients aged from 40 to 49 who were diagnozed with SSA/P accounted for the largest proportion among patients with colorectal polyps in the same age(4.9%).However,there was no statistical significant difference among diverse age groups(P=0.068).The percentage of SSA/P cases for male patients were greater in contemporaneous than female patients(3.9%vs 2.4%)with a significant statistical difference between two groups(P=0.027).2.There were no obvious clinical symptoms in most SSA/P patients.SSA/P were mostly single(82.1%vs 17.9%)and located in the proximal colon(52.2%vs 47.8%)with the diameter being mostly between 6-10mm(53.9%)and commonly the morphological presenting being protruded under the endoscope(74.8%).The diameter of SSA/P of 610mm were mostly located in the distal colon,and≤5mm and that of?11mm were mostly located in the proximal colon. The difference of SSA/P was statistically significant(P=0.007)when it came to various size and distribution. The protruding type(Type I)and superficial type(Type II)were mostly located in the proximal colon, and there was no statistically significant difference in the morphological distribution within different parts(P=0.467).3.There were 66 SSA/P without intraepithelial neoplasia,46 with intraepithelial neoplasia, and 3 with canceration among all 115 SSA/P.The difference in polyp size between different pathological features was statistically significant(P=0.028).The diameter of SSA/P without intraepithelial neoplasia and low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia was smaller than the diameter of cancerous and high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia.Nonetheless, there was no statistically significant difference in the distribution of polyps and endoscopic morphology(P=0.743,P=0.120).Conclusion1.There are commonly more colorectal serrated lesions cases with male.2.SSA/P is more common in a single from, mostly located in the proximal colon, with a diameter of 610mm and a presentation of bulge type under the endoscope.3.SSA/P with a diameter>5mm is more likely to be diagnosed with dysplasia.
