Objective:To investigate the correlation between positive antinuclear antibody test result and onset of varicosity of great saphenous vein, and whether the antinuclear antibody is an independent risk factor for varicosity of great saphenous vein;to provide theoretical guidance for serologically preventing varicosity of great saphenous vein among relevant high-risk people. Methods:In this experiment,56 patients(31 male and 25 female)with varicose great saphenous vein treated in our department(i.e.Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery,Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital)from January 2017 to January 2019,as well as 60 healthy asymptomatic?people(32 male and 25 female)based on relevant examination at the Physical Examination Center of our hospital in the same period were selected as the subjects, who were divided into two groups.56 patients were selected strictly in accordance with the inclusion criteria, and taken as the test group(Group A),which was treated as follows: the patients’ medical history and general information(including age and gender)were recorded in detail, and two tubes of 5ml fasting blood were sampled by a nurse on the morning of the second day after admission. The 60 healthy asymptomatic people were included in the control group(Group B)based on relevant criteria, and for them, general information(including age, gender)were recorded in detail, and with the same method as above, two tubes of 5ml fasting blood were sampled by a nurse. Then the blood samples of both groups were submitted to the Laboratory for testing of the antinuclear antibody level and TG CHOHDLLDL in the same way,and then the test results were recorded in detail.Relevant data were sorted for a statistical analysis, and then concluded based on the results of statistical analysis. Results:In the general data comparison between group A and group B,the difference was not statistically significant if P>0.05.The comparison between the two groups for positive rate of antinuclear antibody showed that the positive rate of antinuclear antibody in group A was significantly higher than that in group B(P<0.05).In the comparison between group A and group B for blood lipid,P<0.05 was showed only for low density lipoprotein level,i.e.there was difference between the two groups for low density lipoprotein level.General information,TG CHOHDLLDL,antinuclear antibody and binary Logistic regression for varicose great saphenous vein showed that if onset of varicosity of great saphenous vein was taken as the dependent variable and LDL and antinuclear antibody were taken as the independent variables,P<0.05,i.e.the difference was statistically significant. The results showed that positive antinuclear antibody expression and increased LDL might increase the risk of varicose great saphenous vein.Conclusion:1、The onset of varicosity of great saphenous vein is correlated with positive antinuclear antibody expression.2、The onset of varicosity of great saphenous vein is correlated with increased LDL-C.3、The onset of varicosity of great saphenous vein is correlated with both positive antinuclear antibody expression and increased LDL.Positive antinuclear antibody expression and increased LDL may increase the risk of varicose great saphenous vein.4、The antinuclear antibody may be an independent risk factor for onset of varicosity of great saphenous vein.
