Objectives:This paper aims to do to understand the death attitude of caregivers of patients with advanced cancer and explore the influencing factors.Combined with the advanced hospice care and death education programs at home and abroad,the intervention program was developed to intervene the death attitude of the caregivers of cancer patients in the intervention group,test its effectiveness,and carry out quantitative analysis.Findings:(1)Investigation study: 96 caregivers of advanced cancer patients who received hospice care services in a hospice in Shanxi Province and met the inclusion criteria were investigated by the method of objective sampling;their death attitude was investigated by dap-r;their social support was investigated by SSRs.(2)Intervention study: According to the results of the investigation,13 caregivers with high death fear scores were selected.According to whether the caregivers have objective conditions to participate in the intervention,the subjects were divided into seven members of the experimental group and six members of the control group.The experimental group was intervened five times for five weeks,while the control group was not intervened.After the intervention,the post-test was carried out to compare the changes of each index..Results: 1.Investigation Study:(1)The average score of the five dimensions of death attitude of caregivers in the late stage was 3.66 ± 0.53 for natural acceptance,3.11 ± 0.82 for fear of death,3.00 ± 0.63 for approach acceptance,3.00 ± 0.63 for escape acceptance,and 2.73 ± 0.70 for escape from death.(2)The average score of total social support of caregivers for advanced cancer patients is 35.93 ± 8.8,the average score of subjective support is 21.39 ± 6.06,the average score of objective support is 8.19 ± 2.82,and the average score of support utilization is 6.35 ± 2.09.(3)The scores of other related indicators of caregivers with different gender,different economic level and different late stage cancer patients were similar in various scales and dimensions,and the differences were not statistically significant;the total scores of death fear,social support and subjective support of caregivers with different health status were significantly different(P < 0.05);the caregivers with or without religious beliefs were significantly different(P < 0.05)There were significant differences in total score of social support,subjective support and utilization of support(P < 0.05),and significant differences in the dimensions of neutral acceptance and escape acceptance(P < 0.05).(4)There was a correlation between death attitude and social support(P < 0.05).2.Intervention Study:(1)The difference between the two groups showed that the decrease of death fear(t =-3.133,P = 0.0262)in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group,and the increase of neutral acceptance(t = 3.335,P = 0.021)in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant,other indicators were not statistically significant.(2)The paired t-test before and after the intervention showed that: the total score of social support and subjective support score of caregivers in the intervention group were statistically significant,but there was no statistical significance in the difference between the two groups;the difference between the two groups before and after the intervention showed that the improvement of subjective support(t = 2.838,P = 0.036)in the intervention group was significantly greater than that in the control group,with statistical significance,and other indicators were not statistically significant The significance of planning.(3)Subjective feedback evaluation of caregivers for advanced cancer patients shows that caregivers have a high acceptance of the whole person care for Alzheimer's disease.Conclusions:(1)In China,the research on the death attitude of caregivers of patients with advanced cancer is at a low level,but the acceptance of death attitude intervention by caregivers is high,so the death education level of caregivers of patients with advanced cancer needs to be improved.(2)The self-designed scheme can effectively reduce the caregiver's fear of death,and can be applied to the daily care of patients with advanced cancer.
