It has always been believed that the main cause of dyslexia is the lack of phonetic awareness, but with the continuous development of research, more and more researchers began to question this view. The latest research abroad has put forward the theory of attention conversion delay.Once this theory has been proposed,it has aroused the support of the majority of researchers, but at present, there are relatively few domestic related studies. This study is divided into two parts. In the first part, attention blinking experiment was used to study attention conversion characteristics of 21 children with word recognition disabilities,23 children with reading comprehension difficulties, and 22 ordinary children in three primary schools in Shanghai. In the second part,12 children were selected for attention conversion training, and the effect of attention conversion training on improving children’s reading fluency was studied. The study found:1.With Chinese characters as the stimulating material, both children with dyslexia and ordinary children will have attention blinking. The severity of attention blinking is: children with word recognition disorder> children with reading comprehension disorder> ordinary children.2.Children with dyslexia(including children with word recognition disabilities and children with dyslexia)take longer to pay attention to recovery than ordinary children.Children with dyslexia have processing delays in attention conversion, and the delay time is about 200 ms.3.Different connection methods between Chinese characters will produce a modulation effect on attention flicker. The modulation effect is: sense-related connection> shape-like connection> homophonic connection> no connection.4.Fast visual sequence presentation stimulation training can improve children’s visual attention conversion ability. This training method is not only effective for ordinary children, but also effective for children with dyslexia.5.Attention conversion ability is closely related to children’s reading fluency. When children’s attention conversion ability is improved, reading fluency will also increase. The innovation of this research:1.Discuss the characteristics of attention conversion in Chinese children with developmental dyslexia2.Using Chinese characters as the material for the attentional blinking experiment and discussing the effects of the phonetic, glyph, semantic, and non-associative connections between Chinese characters on attentional blinking.3.Attentive conversion training was attempted to provide experience for clinical rehabilitation of children with Chinese developmental dyslexia.
