Objective: In view of the problems of symptom relief, overall curative effect and drug safety in the treatment of chronic proctitis(large intestine damp-heat),this paper uses the type of Gegenqinlian Decoction enema combined with oral mesalazine enteric coated tablets to compare the type of oral mesalazine enteric coated tablets alone, and discusses the advantages and prospects of using the mode of Integrated Chinese and Western medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic proctitis. Methods: According to the criteria of diagnosis, inclusion and exclusion,60 patients with chronic proctitis who went to the anorectal clinic of Sichuan Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group by block randomized grouping method. In the control group, mesalazine enteric coated tablets were taken orally as a simple treatment;in the observation group, oral mesalazine enteric coated tablets combined with the Gegenqinlian decoction enema as another treatment;the symptoms relief, overall efficacy and drug safety of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results:(1)After statistical analysis, there was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in general conditions(gender, age, course of disease),clinical symptoms(diarrhea, mucus stool, anal distention, anal burning, little yellow urine, mouth sticky and halitosis)and sigmoidoscopy(P > 0.05),which was comparable.(2)Two groups of patients after different treatment, the condition has changed. In the observation group, the clinical symptoms(diarrhea, mucus stool, anal distention, anal burning, little yellow urine, mouth sticky and halitosis)and sigmoidoscopy were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.01);in the control group, the stool frequency, mucus stool, anal distention, anal burning symptoms, sigmoidoscopy were significantly improved compared with those before treatment The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference between the symptoms of little yellow urine, mouth sticky and halitosis(P >0.05).(3)Two groups of patients after different treatment, the degree of improvement is different. The improvement of clinical symptoms(stool frequency, mucus stool, anal distention, anal burning, short red urination, mouth mucus and halitosis)in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups in the improvement of sigmoidoscopy(P > 0.05).(4)Two groups of patients after different treatment, the total clinical effective rate is different. In the observation group,5 cases were cured,15 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective, the total clinical effective rate was 93.33%;in the control group,2 cases were cured,8 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were effective,9 cases were ineffective, the total clinical effective rate was 70.00%.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(5)No significant adverse drug reactions were found in the two groups at the time of treatment and after treatment.Conclution: In the treatment of chronic proctitis(large intestine damp-heat),Gegenqinlian Decoction Enema Combined with mesalazine enteric coated tablets oral has obvious symptoms relief, overall satisfactory efficacy, high drug safety, and obvious advantages over mesalazine enteric coated tablets oral alone. The pattern of Traditional Chinese medicine enema combined with western medicine oral in the treatment of chronic proctitis has a broad application prospects, clinical should try more.
