Relationship Between Serum Periostin And Urinary Microalbumin In Type 2 Diabetic Patients

Objectives To investigate the correlation between serum Periostin(POSTN),urinary microalbumin level and its influence factors in this paper in type 2 diabetes patients.Methods A total of 176 patients with T2 DM admitted to He Bei General Hospital from December 2018 to November 2019 were collected,with an average age of 59.23 years old,including 104 male patients and 72 female patients.hemoglobin,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,glomerular filtration rate,triglyceride,total cholesterol,plasma albumin,urinary microalbumin were determined in the two groups.Serum Periostin were determined by ELISA.Results 1.Compared with the control group,the TC level of the proteinuria group showed a increasing trend [4.75±1.214 VS 4.49±1.13mmol/L],and the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.134 > 0.05).Compared with the control group,TG levels increased [1.65(1.26,2.53)VS 1.24(0.87,1.75)mmol/L],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).2.The serum POSTN level of proteinuria group was higher than that of control group [(2.02±0.84)VS(0.38±0.26)ng/ml],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).3.1)In total subjects,serum periostin was positively correlated with microalbumin,urea nitrogen,creatinine,triglycerides,the course of diabetes mellitussystolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,and negatively correlated with albumin,glomerular filtration rate.(P<0.05).2)In the control group,serum periostin was positively correlated with microalbumin,urea nitrogen,creatinine,and negatively correlated with glomerular filtration rate.(P < 0.05).3)Periostin in proteinuria group was positively correlated with microalbumin,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,duration of hypertension.(P < 0.05).4.Analysis results of serum Periostin influencing factors:BMI,microalbumin and the course of diabetes mellitus were the positive influencing factors of Periostin(all P values were < 0.05).Conclusions 1.In T2 DM patients,the level of serum Periostin in proteinuria group is increased.2.In T2 DM patients,microalbumin,creatinine,triglycerides and the course of diabetes mellitus were risk factors for abnormally elevated serum POSTN levels.At the same time,BMI,microalbumin and the course of diabetes mellitus are the positive factors of the serum POSTN.Table[4];Reference [124]...
