Objective: The risk of rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysms(AAA)was explored by analyzing the hemodynamic parameters, thrombus index and intraluminal thrombus thickness of real abdominal aortic aneurysms. Methods: A total of 12 and 26 cases of ruptured and unruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms, respectively, were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from February 2016 to September 2018.The Computed Tomography Angiography(CTA)image data of patients were obtained. The hemodynamic parameters and thrombotic index of abdominal aortic aneurysms were obtained by the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method. The intraluminal thrombus thickness was measured with a measuring tool, and the hemodynamic characteristics of the two aneurysm groups were analyzed. Results: In the ruptured group, the wall shear stress(WSS)in the ruptured area of aneurysms and the maximum impact area of blood flow was 0.031±0.017 pa and 0.630±0.215 pa,respectively, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).In the unruptured group, the WSS inthe maximum impact area of blood flow was 1.345±0.253 pa,which showed a statistically significant difference compared with that in the ruptured group(P<0.001).The intraluminal thrombus(ILT)index in the plane lumen with the maximum diameter of aneurysms in the ruptured group was 0.551±0.188,and the ILT index in the ruptured plane lumen of aneurysms in the ruptured group was 0.630±0.190;the difference was statistically significant(P=0.002).The ILT index in the plane lumen with the maximum diameter of aneurysms in the unruptured group was0.525±0.188,which showed no statistical significance compared with that in the ruptured group(P=0.699).The ILT thickness in the plane lumen with the maximum diameter of aneurysms in the ruptured group was23.80±11.64 mm,and the ILT thickness in the ruptured plane lumen of aneurysms in the ruptured group was 29.06 ±12.43mm;the difference was statistically significant(P=0.008).The ILT thickness in the plane lumen with the maximum diameter of aneurysms in the unruptured group was14.90±8.54 mm,which showed statistical significance compared with that in the ruptured group(P=0.012).Conclusion: The hemodynamic parameters combined with the thrombotic index and the intraluminal thrombus thickness play an important role in predicting the rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysms.
