| Objective: To design a clinical study to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of oral Sanren decoction combined with Mesalazine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis. Methods: The 60 UC patients in the outpatient clinic of Chengdu anorectal specialist hospital were equally randomized into groups with or without Sanren-Jiajian decoction. The control group was treated with oral mesalazin enteric-coated tablets, and, the observation group received Sanren-Jiajian decoction orally and also was given Mesalazine. And,the course of treatment in both groups was 4 weeks, followed up until 3 months after withdrawal. After the course of treatment, the two groups were compared with comprehensive curative effect, traditional chinese medicine symptom score, enteroscopy score, adverse reaction and recurrence.Results:(1)The baseline data, total symptom score and enteroscopy score of the two groups were not statistically significant, and it,s comparable.(2)The total score of symptoms in the two groups was compared: the experimental group was compared before and after treatment,p<0.05,the control group was analyzed by the same method,p<0.05,the score of symptoms after treatment was compared between the two groups,p=0.022 < 0.05.the results suggested that these two managements could ameliorate the symptoms of UC patients, but the Sanren-jiajian decoction group was better than the other group.(3)Comparison of the improvement of enteroscopy points in the two groups: the experimental group was compared before and after treatment,p <0.05.The control group was analyzed by the same method,p <0.05.After treatment, the colonoscopy points of both groups was compared,p=0.008,it suggested that the the Sanren-jiajian decoction group was better than the other group.(4)The total remission rates of the Sanren-jiajian decoction group and the control group was 93.3% and 76.7%,respectively.After examination,The Z value was 4.61,p =0.032(P <0.05),and the Sanren-jiajian decoction group was better than the control group in terms of comprehensive efficacy.(5)The total remission rates of the Sanren-jiajian decoction group and the control group was 90% and 73.3%,respectively.after the test,p=0.03,the difference was statistically significant, suggesting that the experimental group was better than the control group in improving the intestinal mucosal healing.(6)Comparison of recurrence rates between the two groups: After 3 months follow-up after the end of the course of treatment, the recurrence rate of the Sanren-jiajian decoction groups and the control group was 28.6% and 50%,respectively.Therefore,compared with the control group, the Sanren jijian decoction group can effectively reduce the recurrence of UC patients.(7)Comparison of safety between the two groups: there were no obvious adverse reactions and no allergies in the two groups, and no obvious abnormal changes in the examination of liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram. Conclusion:Used as the treatment of damp-heat type ulcerative colitis, the combination of oral Sanren-Jiajian decoction and Mesalazine is better than oral Mesalazin alone in these indicators such as the comprehensive efficacy, symptom integral improvement, enteroscopy integral improvement, enteroscopy efficacy, and recurrence rate,etc..There were no obvious adverse events in the two groups, suggesting that the combined treatment was safe. Therefore,we believe that Sanren-Jiajian decoction is an effective prescription for the treatment of damp-heat ulcerative colitis, and when Combined with western medicine,it can enhance the effect. |
