Objectives:To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy of angelica niangtong decoction in the treatment of infantile eczema(dampness and heat immersion syndrome). Methods:In this study,a randomized, controlled study method was used to randomly divide 70 children who met the criteria of western medicine diagnosis as pediatric eczema in the acute phase and Chinese medicine diagnosis as pediatric wet sore(wet and hot immersion syndrome)into two groups,35 in the experimental group and 35 in the control group. The experimental group was given "angelica niantong decoction plus minus" decoction for external washing, and the control group was given "mometasone furoate cream" for external use. After 4 weeks or 1 course of treatment, children in the two groups were evaluated for comprehensive efficacy, and follow-up was conducted 3 months after the end of treatment to observe the recurrence rate. Results:Through comparative analysis of clinical observation data,it was concluded that:(1)baseline evaluation: before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the distribution of gender, age, disease course and scores of each disease(p>0.05),which was comparable.(2)efficacy evaluation: after treatment, the effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the P value was less than 0.05 after the test. The difference was statistically significant. In terms of improving the eczema area and severity index score, the comparison of the eczema area and severity index score between the two groups before and after treatment showed significant efficacy(p<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group in improving the eczema area and severity index score(p<0.05).In terms of improving the score value of TCM symptoms: compared with the score value of TCM symptoms in the two groups before and after treatment, both groups showed significant efficacy(p<0.05),and the experimental group was superior to the control group in improving the score value of TCM symptoms(p<0.05).In terms of improving the score of itching degree: the comparison of the score of itching degree in the two groups before and after treatment showed significant efficacy(p<0.05),and the experimental group was superior to the control group in improving the score of itching degree(p<0.05).Comparison of recurrence rate: compared with the control group, the experimental group can significantly reduce the recurrence rate.(4)safety evaluation: angelica niantong decoction plus external washing treatment of damp and hot immersion type of childhood eczema is safe and effective,no related side effects were found during the observation period.Conclusions:1.Angelica niangtong decoction plus external washing treatment can significantly reduce the EASI score, itch score and TCM systemic syndrome score of children with damp and hot immersion syndrome of eczema, and the above aspects are better than the control group.2.The treatment with angelica niantong decoction plus external washing can reduce the recurrence rate and is safe and effective. No related side effects have been found during the observation period.
