Objectives:To explore the changes of serum adipocyte fatty acid-binding protein(A-FABP)level and correlation analysis by measuring serum A-FABP level in the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with cardiocerebrovascular disease. Methods:From January 2019 to September 2019,188 patients with T2 DM who were admitted to the endocrinology department of Chengde Medical College Affiliated Hospital were eligible for inclusion, including 102 males(54.30 ±4.29 years)and 86 females(55.65 ± 4.28 years).According to whether the patients had cardio-cerebrovascular disease, they were divided into case group and control group,90 cases of cardio-cerebrovascular disease group,including49 males and 41 females;there were 98 cases in the control group without cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, including 53 males and 45 females.Collect general clinical data of patients enrolled, physical examination of height, weight, blood pressure and other indicators, and calculate body mass index;Biochemical indicators were measured using a Beckman AU5800 automatic biochemical analyzer.Enzyme-linked immunoassay was used to determine the serum A-FABP level, and SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data to compare the differences in indicators between the groups.Results:1 Comparison of the general situation of the case group and the control group.1.1 Compared with the control group,Diabetes mellitus duration and hypertension duration in the case group were longer,Body mass index(BMI),systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)levelsincreased, there were significant differences(P<0.05);At the same time, compared with the control group, the frequencies of family history, smoking history, and hypertension in the case group were higher, which were 62.2%(56/90)than 46.9%(46/98),55.6%(50/90)than 40.8%(40/98),66.7%(60/90)than 35.7%(35/98),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).1.2 Among male T2 DM patients,Age,history of hypertension, duration of hypertension, and SBP and DBP in the case group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);Compared with the control group,Age,BMI,history of hypertension, history of hypertension, and SBP were significantly higher in the case group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).2 Comparison of blood biochemical indexes between case group and control group.2.1 Compared with the control group, serum A-FABP,triglycerides(TG),and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)in the case group were elevated, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).2.2 Among male T2 DM patients, compared with the control group, the A-FABP level in the case group increased, but the difference was not statistically significant(P<0.05);Among female T2 DM patients, compared with the control group, the levels of A-FABP,Fasting plasma glucose(FBG),and Microalbuminuria(MAU)in the case group were increased, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3 Correlation between A-FABP level and various indicators.Serum A-FABP levels were positively correlated with Age(r = 0.239),BMI(r = 0.318),TG(r = 0.279),and creatinine(CRE)(r = 0.485)in T2 DM patients(P<0.05);Serum A-FABP levels and Age(r = 0.239),BMI(r = 0.328),history of hypertension(r = 0.239),SBP(r = 0.318),TG(r = 0.279),CRE(r =0.485)was positively correlated(P<0.05).4 Logistic regression analysis showed that serum A-FABP,Age,duration of hypertension and DBP were independent risk factors for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease in T2 DM patients.Conclusions:1 Serum A-FABP levels in patients with T2 DM combined with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications are elevated.Among them, the serum A-FABP levels in female patients are significantly increased, which may be one of the reasons why female diabetes patients are more prone to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events.2 Serum A-FABP levels are related to T2 DM combined with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications.A-FABP may be a risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications in T2 DM patients.
