Objective: To investigate the risk factors of anastomotic fistula in patients who underwent manual anastomosis of esophageal cancer in our hospital. To reduce the incidence of postoperative anastomotic fistula and propose corresponding treatment and prevention measures. Methods: Patients with esophageal cancer who underwent surgical anastomosis from January 2015 to December 2019 in our hospital were retrospectively collected.According to relevant inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 97 cases were screened.According to whether patients have anastomotic fistula after operation, they are divided into anastomotic fistula group and non-anastomotic fistula group. The basic data of the two groups are statistically analyzed.Univariate and logistic multivariate analysis were performed to determine the independent risk factors of postoperative anastomotic fistula.Corresponding treatment and prevention measures are proposed. Results: Twenty-seven patients had anastomotic fistula after operation, the incidence was 26.8%,The univariate analysis showed differences in preoperative diabetes, preoperative albumin, postoperative pneumonia, and ICU time between the two groups of patients.Preoperative diabetes, preoperative albumin, postoperative pneumonia remained independent risk factors in multivariate analysis for patients with anastomotic fistula after operation. Conclusion: Preoperative diabetes, postoperative pneumonia, and preoperative albumin levels may be risk factors for anastomotic fistula after esophageal cancer.Proactive prevention and treatment measures should be proposed according to relevant risk factors to improve the prognosis of patients and reduce the incidence of postoperative anastomotic fistula. |
