Research Background:Cognitive function management is an important means to delay the disease progress of mild cognitive impairment(MCI).However, the compliance of cognitive function management among older adults with MCI at home and abroad is still at a low level at present, which greatly affects the intervention effect of cognitive function management. The research and practice of cognitive function management at home and abroad are mainly focused on the types of management projects, forms of implementation and effect evaluation, etc. There is still a lack of systematic research on the assessment tool for the overall compliance of cognitive function management in older adults with MCI.Research Purpose:1.Develop the“compliance prediction scale in cognitive function management for older adults with MCI”according to the standardized development process of the scale to provide a quantitative assessment tool for revealing the differences in cognitive function management awareness of older adults with MCI.2.Verify the performance of“compliance prediction scale in cognitive function management for older adults with MCI”to provide an accurate and effective measurement tool for quantitative evaluation of cognitive function management level of MCI population.Research Methods:Based on Health Belief Model, the paper began with literature review?reference to the relevant guidelines and semi-structured interviews to form the initial scale item pool that contains43 items, and Delphi method was used to carry out two rounds of correspondence to 5 experts to revise the initial item pool of the scale, eventually formed the initial scale of 34 items. Then we adoptd the initial scale to carry out preliminary investigation to further test the feasibility of item measurement. The initial scale was used to conduct exploratory factor analysis on 200 older adults with MCI in Huzhou, and the tentative scale formed after exploratory factor analysis was used to conduct confirmatory factor analysis on 200 older adults with MCI in Chifeng.SPSS 21.0 and Amos 24.0 were used for data processing and analysis. The content validity of the scale was evaluated by the expert consultation.Item analysis and item election was evaluated by item analysis method.Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to evaluate the structural validity of the scale. The internal consistency reliability was used to evaluate the reliability of the scale.Research Results:The final version of the“compliance prediction scale in cognitive function management for older adults with MCI”included Perceived susceptibility(7 items),Perceived severity(4 items),Perceived benefits(3 items),Perceived barriers(7 items),Cues to action(3 items),Self-efficacy(8 items)a total of 32 items. The content validity index of the scale was 0.920 according to the expert consultation, indicating that the content validity of the scale was good. The internal consistency coefficient namely Cronbach's?coefficient of the scale was 0.904,and the Cronbach's?coefficient of each dimension ranged from 0.857 to 0.953.The overall accumulative variance contribution rate of the exploratory factor analysis was 61.641%.The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that?~2/df=2.228,TLI=0.891,CFI=0.901,IFI=0.902 and RMSEA=0.902,the fitting indexes are basically up to the standard, the model fitting degree is good, and the scale structure validity is good.Research Conclusion:In this study, the“compliance prediction scale in cognitive function management for older adults with MCI”with good reliability and validity was preliminarily formed. The establishment of this scale will provide a scientific and reliable assessment tool for the assessment of the cognitive function management compliance of older adults with MCI under the social and cultural background in China, and at the same time provide an objective index reference for the evaluation of the effects of different cognitive function intervention techniques.
