| Objective: To study the application value of double-balloon enteroscope, computed tomographic enterography and capsule endoscope in the diagnosis of suspected small bowel Crohn’ s disease,to explore the advantages of double-balloon enteroscope in the diagnosis of small bowel Crohn’ s disease, and to provide a basis for the reasonable choice of clinical examination methods for small bowel Crohn’s disease.Method: This study retrospectively analyzed 29 patients with clinically suspected small bowel Crohn’s disease from April 2014 to June 2019 at Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University. We combined the patient’s clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, endoscopic results, pathological results and clinical follow-up to confirm the diagnosis. The diagnostic accuracy of double balloon enteroscope, computed tomographic enterography and capsule endoscope for Crohn’s disease was analyzed. Results: A total of 29 patients were included in this study,21 patients were diagnosed with small bowel Crohn’s disease. All patients underwent double-balloon enteroscope and computed tomographic enterography,9 patients underwent capsule endoscope.A sum of 24 patients were detected positive lesions by double-balloon enteroscope, the diagnostic rate was 82.6%(24/29).19 patients were finally diagnosed small bowel Crohn’s disease with diagnostic accuracy of 90.5%(19/21).20 patients with positive findings were detected by computed tomographic enterography, the diagnostic rate was69.1%(20/29).And 14 patients were finally diagnosed Crohn’s disease, the diagnostic accuracy was 66.7%(14/21).8 patients were detected positive findings by capsule endoscope, the diagnostic rate was 88.9%(8/9),and 5 patients were finally diagnosed, the diagnostic accuracy was 62.5%(5/8).Conclusion: The diagnostic efficacy of double-balloon enteroscope is superior to computed tomographic enterography and capsule endoscope.Double-balloon enteroscope has important clinical value for the diagnosis of small bowel Crohn’s disease. |
