ObjectivesTo investigate the Knowledge-Attitude-Practice status of major orthopedic surgery patients on the prevention of lower deep vein thrombosis, analyze the main influencing factors and their correlation.MethodsSelected 225 orthopedic surgery patients who met the inclusion criteria from a three-level of first-class hospital in Hunan Province from January to June 2019.Using the convenient sampling method and conducted a questionnaire survey on them. The survey tools include self-designed general information questionnaire and revised LDVT KAP scale of orthopedic patients.Conducted the statistical analysis using SPSS18.0,and made statistical description using mean, standard deviation and composition ratio;Adopted independent sample t-test,variance analysis and Kruskal Wallis H test for single factor analysis;Adopted the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis for multiple factors;Adopted Pearson for correlation analysis,P<0.05 shows that the difference was statistically significant.Results1.The overall score of LDVT prevention in major orthopedic surgery patients was(75.35±5.63),and the total score rate was 78.49%.The knowledge score was(14.12±3.44),and the score rate was 54.31%.The average score of belief was(53.45±3.20),and the score rate was89.08%.All the behaviors were(7.78±1.31),and the scoring rate was77.80%.2.Multi-factor analysis showed that age, education level and occupation were the main factors affecting knowledge score(P<0.05).Age,education level, primary caregivers and surgical procedures were the main factors affecting the behavioral scores(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in attitude scores in general data(P>0.05).3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the correlation coefficients of knowledge, attitude and behavior of patients with LDVT were 0.181,0.301,and 0.147,respectively,with positive correlation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions1.The prevention of lower limb deep vein thrombosis in patients with major orthopedic surgery is generally at a medium level.Among them, the knowledge level is the lowest, the behavior compliance is general, the prevention attitude is good.2.Different ages, education levels and occupations have different levels of knowledge of prevention of LDVT.The implementation rate of preventive measures for LDVT was different with different ages, educational levels, primary caregivers and surgical methods.3.For patients undergoing major orthopedic surgery, education on the prevention of lower limb deep vein thrombosis should be conducted on the basis of improving postoperative experience,It will help to improve the prevention attitude and behavior compliance.
