The Application Of The Longissimus Muscle,Iliac Rib Muscle,Multifidus Muscle,and Quadratus Lumbus Border In The Minimally Invasive Treatment Of Non-specific Chronic Lower Back Pain

Objectives:This experiment was performed by dissecting gross specimen,the height,distance from the outer edge to the posterior median line and thickness of the longissimus muscle,iliac rib muscle,multifidus muscle and quadratus lumbus were measured,to clear surgical entry route for minimally invasive treatment of non-specific chronic low back pain,to locat target areas and boundaries,to provide anatomical basis to avoid medical damage.Methods:7 specimens were used for the experiment.Measure the following data:1.height;2.the level of L3 transverse process,L4 transverse process and iliac crest:distance from the outer edge to the posterior median line and thickness of the longissimus muscle;3.the level of L3 transverse process,L4 transverse process and iliac crest:distance from the outer edge to the posterior median line and thickness of the iliac rib muscle;4.the level of L3 transverse process and L4 transverse process:distance from the outer edge to the posterior median line and thickness of the multifidus muscle;5.the level of L3 transverse process and L4 transverse process:distance from the outer edge to the posterior median line and thickness of the quadratus lumbus;the level of quadratus lumbus with the iliac bone:distance from the inner and outer edge to the posterior median line.Results:The measurements show:1、Height of specimen:163.04±8.38cm.2、The result of longissimus muscle are as follows.The level of L3 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 4.11±0.53cm,the thickness is 2.69±0.79cm.The level of L4 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 4.16±0.57cm,the thickness is 2.91±0.71cm.The level of iliac crest:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 4.05±0.49cm,the thickness is 3.20±0.87cm.The level of iliac crest:the relationship between thickness of muscle and height conforms to linear regression.3、The results of iliac rib muscle are as follows.The level of L3 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 7.27±0.80cm,the thickness is 2.14±0.60cm.The level of L4 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 7.06±0.89cm,the thickness is 2.10±0.86cm.The level of iliac crest:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 6.95±0.99cm,the thickness is 1.86±1.02cm.The level of L4 midpoint of outer edge of transverse process and iliac crest:the relationship between distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line and height conforms to linear regression.The level of L4 transverse process lower edge and L4 midpoint of outer edge of transverse process:the relationship between thickness of muscle and height conforms to linear regression.4、The results of multifidus muscle are as follows.The level of L3 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 2.45±0.61cm,the thickness is 1.49±0.34cm.The level of L4 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 2.62±0.58cm,the thickness is 1.88±0.44cm.5、The results of quadratus lumbus are as follows.The level of L3 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 7.59±0.87cm,the thickness is 0.84±0.31cm.The level of L4 transverse process upper edge:the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line is 8.23±1.08cm,the thickness is 1.08±0.42cm.The level of quadratus lumbus with the iliac bone:the distance from the inner and outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line are 7.13±0.94cm,10.42±1.11cm.The level of L3 and L4 midpoint of outer edge of transverse process:the relationship between muscle thickness and height conforms to linear regression.Conclusions:This experiment revealed that:1.The distance from the outer edge of the longissimus muscle to the posterior median line does not vary with the level at which it is located;the thickness of the longissimus muscle increases with the level at which it is located,from top to bottom;the distance from the outer edge of the longissimus muscle to the posterior median line does not vary with height;but the thickness of the longissimus muscle at the level of the iliac crest increases with increasing height.2.The distance from the outer edge of the iliac rib muscle to the posterior median line decreases with the level from top to bottom;at the level of L3 transverse process and L4 transverse process,the thickness of the iliac rib muscles does not vary,thickness becomes thickener level down to the midpoint of outer edge of transverse process,thickness becomes thinner to the lower edge of L4 transverse process and the iliac crest;level of the L4 midpoint of outer edge of transverse process and level of the iliac crest,the distance from the outer edge of the muscle to the posterior median line decreases with increasing height;the level of the lower edge of the L4 transverse process and the L4 midpoint of outer edge of transverse process,muscle thickness becomes thinner with height increasing.3.The distance from the outer edge of the multifidus muscle to the posterior median line increases from top to bottom with the level at which it is located;the thickness of the multifidus muscle increases with the level at which it is located,from top to bottom;the distance from the outer edge of the multifidus muscle to the posterior median line does not vary with height;the thickness of multifidus muscle does not vary with height.4.The distance from the outer edge of the quadratus lumbus to the posterior median line increases with the level at which it is located from top to bottom;the thickness of the uadratus lumbus increases from top to bottom with the level at which it is located;the distance from the outer edge of the quadratus lumbus to the posterior median line does not vary with height;but the thickness of the quadratus lumbus increases with height.
