Justice Based On Difference:A Comparative Study On The Demand And Supply Of Health Care Services For The Elderly In Urban And Rural Areas In China

Health endowment introduces the concept of health into the field of old-age care.It not only pays attention to the material and living needs of the elderly,but also pays attention to their medical care,spiritual comfort and social participation,etc.It emphasizes the overall coordination of old-age care resources from three aspects:physical,psychological and social,so as to meet the multi-level and diversified old-age care needs of the elderly.With the deepening of the aging society,healthy endowment has become an important way to promote active aging and healthy aging.At present,the demand for health and elderly care services in China is growing and increasingly diversified.Although the corresponding supply level of health and elderly care services in China is also constantly improving,it is unbalanced,inadequate and there is a significant difference between urban and rural areas.It is an important issue to focus on the interests of the elderly and promote the healthy development of the society to pay attention to the difference between the demand and supply of the elderly's health care services in urban and rural areas and to seek fair justice in the differenceThis paper uses literature research method,investigation analysis method,data analysis method,comparative analysis method,and induction and summary method.Firstly,on the basis of summarizing the current situation of the demand and supply of health and old-age care services for the elderly in urban and rural areas in China,it fully understands the significance and development status of health and old-age care.On this basis,taking Taicang city of Jiangsu province,Feixi county of Hefei city and Jiulongpo district of Chongqing city as examples,this paper conducts investigation and research,compares the demand and supply of healthy care services for the elderly in urban and rural areas,and finds that there are some differences in the demand and supply of health care services for the elderly in both urban and rural areas and between different regions,and the difference between the supply and demand of health care services is also different.Therefore,this paper summarizes the difficulties in the development of health care services for the elderly in urban and rural areas as follows:there are significant differences in demands between urban and rural areas,and there are difficulties in overall planning and coordination;the overall service supply is insufficient and the contradiction between supply and demand is prominent;the service concept is traditional,and the health care needs to be deepened;there is a significant gap between urban and rural supply,so joint efforts and shared benefits need to be strengthened.The reasons can be summarized as follows:there are differences between urban and rural environment and life concepts,as well as differences in behavioral choices;the elderly service supply system is not yet sound,the supply effect is not yet prominent;the concept of health service for the aged develops late,and the relevant exploration needs to be strengthened;the structure of supply and demand for old-age care services between urban and rural areas is out of balance.Finally,based on Rawls' theory of justice,Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and social welfare theory,this paper puts forward some thoughts on constructing a health and old-age service system with Chinese characteristics.They are:face up to the differences and build a health and old-age service system with Chinese characteristics;accurate supply,promote the effective improvement of the supply of health care services;renew the concept,protect the elderly group health care service rights and interests;promote coordinated development of old-age care services between urban and rural areas,in order to provide relevant thinking on the development of health care in China,and promote the level of health care in China and the sustainable development of society.
