Objective : DEA method was used to evaluate the service status of the Secondary hospital and above of the general hospital in Wuhan from 2013 to 2015,compare the service efficiency values of public hospitals and private hospitals,analyze the causes of the differences and summarize the experiences,and rationally allocate medical and resources to improve the hospital of the service efficiency of the reference.Methods: Select the Secondary hospital and above general hospitals in Wuhan as the research object,and the data of input and output indicators related to the efficiency of the hospital service in 2013-2015 were collected.Using the principal component analysis(PCA)extracts to the original multiple input and output indicators to extract the principal component dimension reduction,and then using data envelopment analysis method to evaluate the efficiency of service.Results:1?From 2013 to 2015,the comprehensive efficiency of 38 hospitals in Wuhan was0.418,0.535 and 0.550 respectively,and the efficiency value increased with the change of time.2?From 2013 to 2015,the average efficiency of the 29 public hospitals was 0.387,0.496 and 0.520 respectively.Only one public hospital was integrated in 2013.The average efficiency of 9 private hospitals was 0.517,0.660 and 0.645 respectively,in2014 and 2015,each with two to achieve comprehensive effective.There was no significant difference in the difference in comprehensive efficiency from 2013 to 2015(t=1.470,P=0.171;t =2.110,P=0.062;t =1.573,P=0.147).3?From 2013 to 2015,the average technical efficiency of the 29 public hospitals was 0.521,0.726,0.695,and 6.90%,10.34%,13.79% effective implementation technology respectively.The average technical efficiency of 9 private hospitals was0.579,0.781,0.757,22.22%,33.33%,33.33% effective implementation technology respectively.There was no significant difference in the difference in technical efficiencyfrom 2013 to 2015(t= 0.691,P=0.494;t= 0.785,P=0.437;t=0.819,P=0.418).4?From 2013 to 2015,the average scale efficiency of the 29 public hospitals was0.774,0.694,0.760.In 2013,55.17% of the public hospital for diminishing scale,37.93% of public hospital in a state of increasing scale in 2013;in 2014 and 2015,all the public hospital in a state of diminishing size.The average scale efficiency of nine private hospitals were 0.832,0.891,0.843,in 2013,66.67% of the private hospitals in increasing scale,2014 and 2015,the 11.11% of the private hospitals in scale increasing,the 66.67% decline in scale,scale 22.22% efficient.The average scale efficiency is significantly different from 2013 to 2015(t= 2.292,P=0.028;t= 3.366,P=0.002;t=2.418,P=0.021).Conclusions:1?The hospital's service efficiency of Wuhan is not high,and there was a considerable difference between hospitals.2?From 2013 to 2015,the efficiency of various types of private hospitals was always higher than that of public hospitals,but the gap of efficiency values was gradually narrowing.3?Differences in scale efficiency are the main reason for the differences between public hospitals and private hospitals.
