Objective In recent years, many studies have shown that in addition to the surgery itself, anesthesia may also affect the immune system, thereby affecting the prognosis of tumor diseases to a certain extent.Although a lot of experiments have been carried out on the effects of different anesthetic drugs or methods on the immune system, most of them focus on T lymphocyte subsets, and there are less reports on the effects of Treg cells on regulatory T cell.Treg have been the focus of research in immunology in recent years. At present, studies have found that there is a link between the changes in the expression of Treg cells and many diseases and inflammatory reactions.Surgery and anesthesia can affect the immune system of patients, but it is not clear how to affect Treg. This experiment explores the effects of different anesthesia methods on Treg in patients with lung cancer, thereby helping clinical selection of anesthesia methods with less harmful effects on patients’ immune system. Methods From September 2019 to December 2019,fifty-two patients with lung cancer who were scheduled for thoracoscopy radical lung cancer surgery in the Second Hospital of Da Lian Medical University. The ASA classification was grade I to II and randomly divided into the total intravenous anesthesia group(group T,n=26 cases)and the epidural combined intravenous anesthesia group(group E,n=26 cases),The total intravenous anesthesia group only used sufentanil for intraoperative analgesia, while the total epidural combined intravenous anesthesia group was treated with lidocaine for intraoperative analgesia.Flow cytometry was used to detect T lymphocyte subsets and Treg levels at the times of pre-induction(T1),operation ending(T2)and 24 hours after surgery(T3),and the differences between the two groups were compared.Measures and Main Results Compared with group E,T group had less vasoactive drugs. At T3,Treg% showed T group <E group in two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).CD3~+% of both groups showed T3 <T1,the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).There were no significant differences in NK% and CD4~+ / CD8~+ between the two time points(P>0.05).Conclusion Both of the two anesthesia methods can provide satisfactory anesthetic effect for thoracoscopic radical treatment of lung cancer.Compared with intravenous anesthesia, epidural anesthesia combined with intravenous anesthesia increased the number of Treg in 24 hours after the operation, but there was no significant difference in the effects of the two anesthesia methods on NK%,CD3~+,and CD4~+/CD8~+.
