Objective: To explore the effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with early activity on the ICU acquired weakness in patients with mechanical ventilation. Methods: A total of 106 patients with ICU mechanical ventilation who were treated in the the First Hospital of Jilin University from January 2019 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into two groups: the control group(54patients)and the experimental group(52 patients). The patients in the control group were treated with early four-level activity. On the basis of the nursing method of the control group, add the nursing link of neuromuscular electrical stimulation to the experimental group. After nursing, the nursing effect was compared from the following aspects: the results of muscle strength score, grip strength measurement,VAP incidence, unplanned extubation incidence, pressure sore incidence,ICU-AW incidence,Barthel index score, mechanical ventilation time,ICU hospitalization time and total hospitalization time. Results: The muscle strength score on the 7th day of nursing in the experimental group was(50.13 ± 4.64),which was higher than that on the control group(43.63 ± 5.08);the result of the grip strength on the 4th day of the experimental group was(17.12 ± 3.05)Kg,and the result of the 7th day was(22.67 ± 5.71)Kg,both higher than(11.59 ± 2.51)Kg and(15.33 ± 5.30)Kg in the control group;the incidence of ICU-AW in the experimental group was 34.62%,lower than 62.96% in the control group;when the experimental group was discharged The Barthel index score was(47.12 ± 5.36)points,which was higher than that of the control group(33.24 ± 7.15)points;the experimental group ICU hospital stay and total hospital stay were(10.27 ± 3.22)d and(16.37 ± 4.51)d,respectively lower than the control group(14.98 ± 4.06)d and(22.85 ± 4.64)d.Compared with the above results, the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05).In terms of the incidence of VAP,unplanned extubation and pressure ulcers, the experimental group was 13.46%,3.85% and0.00%,and the control group was 27.78%,1.85% and 1.85%.Compared with the above results, the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Conclusion: The nursing method of neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with early activity effectively prevented the occurrence of ICU-AW in ICU patients with mechanical ventilation, and the nursing effect was significant.
