Eye Three-needle For Patients With Open-angle Glaucoma Optic Atrophy Protection Of Optic Nerve

Objective: The Optic atrophy with Open-angle glaucomatous has become a incurable diseases in all over the world and even in the motherland medicine belong to the category of blue blindness eye disease.Because most of the injured optic nerve is mainly subacute or chronic pathological process,how to delay the optic nerve death and protect the optic nerve activity is extremely important In Chinese medicine,acupuncture treatment can relax the meridian,improve the blood circulation of the fundus,stimulate the activity of nerve cells,through the eye three needle treatment in order to improve the optic nerve function of patients,so as to improve the visual function of patients,so that they can live a normal life.At the same time,it also provides a new idea for the treatment of open Angle glaucoma optic nerve atrophy with traditional Chinese medicine,and a new method for clinicians to treat open Angle glaucoma optic nerve atrophy,so as to enrich the theory of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of eye diseases.Methods: Sixty patients with open-angle glaucomatous optic nerve atrophy(87 eyes)were diagnosed by the department of ophthalmology in our hospital.They were randomly divided into two groups: control group(oral mikebuao): 30 patients(43 eyes),including 15males(20 eyes)and 15 females(23 eyes);treatment group(3 eyes + oral mikebuao): 30patients(44 eyes),including 13 males(18 eyes)and 17 females(26 eyes).Through the eye three needles(Head,eyes,body three parts: head baihui,wind pool;On the acupoints around the eyes,chengxu,jingming,xinming II,sizhu sky,the sun;Body part hegu,taichong,guangming,zusanli,taixi)were used to treat patients with optic nerve atrophy in open-angle glaucoma,and the changes of visual field and RNFL thickness of optic disc were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.Results: The difference of visual field and optic disc RNFL between the two groups before treatment was not statistically significant after independent t test(all P were > 0.05).Comparison of visual field: the difference of rank sum test before and after treatment in the control group was statistically significant,while the difference of paired t test before andafter treatment in the treatment group was statistically significant.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant by independent t test P=0.00 after treatment.Comparison of optic disc RNFL: there was no statistically significant difference between the control group(P >)and the control group(P >)before and after treatment.The difference of rank sum before and after treatment in the treatment group was statistically significant.The results of independent t test P=0.039 after treatment were comparable between the two groups.Conclusion: Visual field: both groups were statistically significant after treatment.The effective rate was 83.3% in the treatment group and 43.3% in the control group.The therapeutic effect of the two groups was much higher than that of the control group.Optic disc: after comparing the two groups of treatment,the treatment group has statistical significance and the control group has no statistical significance.After treatment,the effective rate of optic disc RNFL thickness in the treatment group was 93.3%,and the effect of the treatment group was far better than that of the control group.It can be seen that the treatment of patients with optic nerve atrophy in open-angle glaucoma can improve the visual field,repair and treat the damaged optic nerve,and improve the visual function of the patients.
