Analysis Of The Disease Constitution And Operation Of 1621 Glaucoma Inpatients In Xinjiang

Objective:In order to explore the internal structure and classification of glaucoma,to understand its age and gender characteristics,to analyze the amount of surgery,the change of intraocular pressure under different surgical methods,to further discuss the etiological characteristics of glaucoma,and to provide epidemiological data for the prevention and treatment of glaucoma.Methods:From January 2009 to December 2018,the clinical data of glaucoma patients hospitalized in the ophthalmology department of the people’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were analyzed.According to the classification of discharge diagnosis,the gender,age,ethnic distribution of glaucoma patients,the choice of surgical methods and the trend of intraocular pressure change before and after surgery were counted,and the etiological characteristics of secondary glaucoma were analyzed.Results:Primary angle closure glaucoma(PACG)accounted for 66.37%,primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)for 3.76%,secondary glaucoma(SG)for 28.56%,and congenital glaucoma(CG)for 1.31%.PACG female: male = 2.05:1,POAG female: male = 1:1.10.POAG has more Han nationality and PACG has more Uygur nationality.Lens glaucoma is the main cause of secondary glaucoma,accounting for 45.79%.Secondary glaucoma caused by vitrectomy ranked the third place,accounting for 13.17%.Before 2014,the proportion of external drainage surgeries increased(12.50%-70.00%),after 2014,the proportion of external drainage surgeries decreased(65.88%-40.44%);before 2014,the proportion of internal drainage surgeries decreased(50.00%-10.34%),after 2014,the proportion of internal drainage surgeries increased(9.41%-18.67%),and after 2014,the proportion of non drainage surgeries increased(18.83%-37.78%).Conclusion: PACG is still the most common type of glaucoma,and the hospitalization composition of secondary glaucoma is higher than other areas.Ethnicity is a factor associated with glaucoma.By 2018,it was found from the composition ratio(external drainage operation > non drainage operation > internal drainage operation >Simple destruction of ciliary body).
