Objective: To investigate the short-term effect of endoscopic treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis, and analyze the possible adverse factors that affect the efficacy, and hope to better avoid the short-term effect of endoscopic treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 160 patients with lumbar spinal stenosis who percutaneous endoscopic lumbar nerve root decompression from October2016 to February 2019 was performed. For the bad prognosist group(n=12cases)and the good prognosist group(n=148 cases),gender, age, education, nature of work, body mass inde(BMI),VAS score were collected.Preoperative JOA score,The Oswestry Disability Inde, disease segment, stenosis site, stenosis type, postoperative activities The degree, smoking history, drinking history, diabetes and osteoporosis, etc.using single and multiple factors Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors that caused short-term curative effect of lumbar spinal stenosis after PELD.Results: The 1-year prognosis for LSS patients after PELD was 92.5%(148/160).In bad prognosist group, age > 60 years old, history of diabetes mellitus, type of stenosis of lumbar disc herniation, short time of functional exercise, osteoporosis and the proportion of patients with heavy physical labor were significantly higher than those in the good prognosis group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that: age > 60 years old, history of diabetes mellitus, type of stenosis of lumbar disc herniation, short time of functional exercise, osteoporosis, and heavy labor were the factors leading to poor short-term effect of pled in patients with LSS(or =1.342,2.182,2.562,7.626,2.565,1.594,45.179,all P < 0.05).Conclusion(s): PELD is currently one of the important and effective methods for treating LSS.However, there are many adverse factors resulting in poor short-term effect after operation. The poor prognosis rate of this study was7.5%.Studies have found that age, history of diabetes, type of stenosis, duration of functional exercise, combined osteoporosis, nature of work, and degree of postoperative activity are the factors that cause PELD to be a poor short-term effect after LSS treatment. And Deserves widespread clinical attention. At the same time, targeted measures should be taken to further improve the short-term effect of patients.
