ContextThe main purpose of this study is to understand the development status,existing problems and development dilemmas of the second-and third-level Chinese medicine hospitals in Henan Province,and put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of Henan Chinese medicine hospitals.In order to provide the basis to establish a scientific organizational system,sound management,perfect personnel system,reasonable training system and cultural atmosphere,also for enhancing the core competitiveness of the hospital and promoting the sustainable development of Chinese medicine hospitals in China.MethodAccording to the distribution of departments,medical staff and patients were randomly selected as the objects of investigation in 11 TCM hospitals directly under Zhengzhou.A total of 1300 questionnaires were sent out and 1266 effective questionnaires were collected,with a recovery rate of 97.38%.SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the survey data.Resultaccording to five major indicators including comprehensive indicators,quality and efficiency indicators,safety indicators,talent indicators,and cultural construction indicators,we evaluate 11 TCM hospitals.The first is the comprehensive index,mainly examining the work of party building and anti-commercial bribery.8 of the hospitals are meticulous,the remaining 3 are not detailed enough to be further improved.Second,in terms of quality and efficiency,generalproblems were found on the salary incentive mechanism for managers and medical workers.Lacking of targeted and innovative work evaluation mechanisms,problems such as low prescription pass rate,imperfect quality nursing services and room for improvement in medical services still exist.Thirdly,in the aspect of hospital safety,diversified and personalized measures have been adopted by 11 hospitals for safety and security,besides,the satisfaction about medical personnel has basically reached up to 90%,with a proportion of 90.9%;however there are still some problems including undeveloped supervision systems,single technology,safety facilities needed be updated,lacking safety awareness of medical workers Fourth,it concerns related academic activities and academic training.Each hospital organizes certain academic exchange activities and carries out corresponding training according to the plan;but in terms of specific training practices,lacking innovation and slowly updating knowledge is far from satisfying the demand of scientific technology for first-line doctors.Fifth is cultural construction.Hospital cultural management is a measure which affects the behavior of the employees from the micro direction,and gradually changes the thoughts 、 recognition and habits.The problem concerning how to achieve hospital culture management is solved through integrating the relevant management methods,systems with hospital culture into the corresponding hospital culture,which lead to profound influence on the thought of hospital employees,and finally present on the behavior mode.In order to realize the hospital culture,the micro-management of the hospital must be put in place while the hospital culture should be presented in detail.Existing problems:(1)lack of party building work file materials,(2)familiarity with the anti-commercial bribery work system needs to be improved,(3)medical record prescription related management system is not perfect,(4)three-day admission diagnosis rate,admission diagnosis The compliance rate is not up to standard,(5)the phenomenon of excessive extra beds still exists,(6)the lack of a long-term mechanism for high-quality nursing services,the per capita cost of outpatient and inpatient hospitals exceeds thestandard,and the construction of the medical consortium is generally poor.Construction work needs to be strengthened,(8)patients’ medical experience needs to be improved,(9)medical staff’s safety awareness is weak,(10)safety management regulations and hardware safety facilities need to be improved,(11)medical workers attach importance to quality control Insufficient,(12)the hospital has a weak awareness of emergency plans,(13)the hospital’s student training ability is weak,(14)the standardization rate of the hospital’s standardized training has not reached the standard,(15)the awareness rate of the school song and hospital training needs to be improved.ConclusionWe find that since the implementation of the new medical reform,the development of Henan provincial municipal hospitals has achieved certain achievements: one of the important results is that the increasing number in medical services year by year,another one is that the efficiency of medical services has steadily increased,the overall level of hospital revenue and expenditure has continued to improve,and the last one is that status of hospital staff and equipment has gradually improved.Suggestions:(1)Give full play to the leadership role of the party committee,and improve party building,(2)strengthen anti-commercial bribery management,(3)strengthen medical record quality control and management,(4)improve diagnostic efficiency and accuracy measures,(5)use information Means to solve the problem of excessive extra bed,(6)Establish a long-term mechanism of high-quality nursing services,(7)Control medical expenses,(8)Strengthen the construction of medical consortiums and key specialties,(9)Improve the patient experience,(10)Strengthen the safety awareness of medical staff,enhance the safety awareness of hospital infection management personnel,(11)enhance student training ability,standardize talent training,strengthen the construction of continuing education projects,(12)strengthen the construction of hospital culture.
