Objective: To compare the ADC,D,D *,f and ADC values of vertebral body segments,Vertebral BMD and Pfirrmann grading endplates between different sexes,ages,vertebral segments,and Pfirrmann grading endplates;To analyze the correlation of ADC of intervertebral disc,endplate ADC,D,D * and f values with Pfirrmann gradess;To investigate the effect of changes of bone mineral density(BMD)and endplate microcirculation on intervertebral disc degeneration.The Q test was used for the two-totwo comparison between groups.Methods: With the consent of the patients,the clinical and medical imaging data of the patients who underwent routine magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and dual energy xray absorptiometry(DXA)from January 2018 to December 2019 in Yijishan Hospital of Wuhu were collected.The patients were divided into male group and female group,and were further divided into old,middle and young stages according to their ages Based on Pfirrmann grading system,the intervertebral disc degeneration was divided into five grades of I ~ V.The MRI sequences included T1 WI and T2W1,SAGITTAL position IVIM-DWI(B value 0、50、100、150、200、250、300、300、400、500、800、1000s/mm2);Sagittal position DWI(B value 0 and 1000s/mm2)。The ROI of L 1 ~L4 vertebral body was plotted on the ADC image,and the Roi of L 1 ~L4 vertebral body was plotted on the same three levels as the ADC value,the software automatically calculates the values of slow apparent diffusion coefficient(D),fast apparent diffusion Coefficient(D *)and perfusion fraction(F),and generates the corresponding parameter graph and attenuation graph.Kolmogorov-smimov test and homogeneity of variance were performed on D,D * And F of Lumbar disc ADC,endplate ADC and IVIM in different groups.The measures that conform to the normal distribution in the statistical data are described by ` ± ,while the others are described by the median in terms of interquartile spacing.At the same time,for the difference of ADC,D,D *,F and ADC of Pfirrmann grading endplate in different sex,different age,different segment,different individuals,univariate analysis of variance(Anova)and Kruskal’s Algorithm Wallis(K-W)were used.The correlation of BMD,endplate ADC and IVIM parameters(D,D * And f)with Pfirrmann grading and ADC value was analyzed by Spearman or Pearson Correlation When P value was less than 0.05,the test level was 0.05 on both sides.Conclusion:A total of 40 patients were enrolled in the study.160 discs.There were 17 male patients and 12 female patients,the mean age was 50.5±0.9 years old,5 young patients,27 middle-aged patients and 8 old patients,8 normal patients,15 patients with increased bone mass and 17 patients with decreased bone mass.The intergroup consistency was 0.76,intra-group consistency was 0.88,and the Kappa Coefficient was 0.85.The D* of upper endplate and D of lower endplate values in different sexes were statistically significant( < 0.05);The D of the upper endplate and f of lower endplate values in different age groups were statistically significant( < 0.05);The f of the upper endplate values in different segment groups were statistically significant( < 0.05);The D* of upper endplate and lower endplate values in different bone mineral density were statistically significant( < 0.05).Other parameters in the other groups were not statistically significant( > 0.05)The ADC of intervertebral disc,D* and f of upper endplate,f of lower endplate values in different Pfirrmann grading were statistically significant( < 0.05).The ADC of intervertebral disc were negatively correlated with,grading,and f of upper endplate;f of lower endplate,BMDwere positively correlated with,grading( < 0.05).The ADC,D,D * and f of endplate,The ADC of intervertebral disc were different in different sex,age,vertebral segment,BMD and Pfirrmann grading.There are different perfusion levels in the endplates with different BMD.There are different perfusion levels in the endplates with different grades of degenerative disc.
