| Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" acupuncture treatment of neurogenic urinary retention caused by spinal cord injury, evaluate the safety of this acupuncture method, and discuss its clinical application advantages.Provide a basis for further standardizing the clinical operation of acupuncture and moxibustion and expanding clinical application. Methods:The 70 patients with spinal cord injury urinary retention were randomly divided into treatment group 35 cases and control group 35 cases. The control group was treated with intermittent catheterization, and the treatment group was given "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" acupuncture treatment based on intermittent catheterization.Intermittent catheterization is routinely performed daily, and the number of catheterizations is determined according to the amount of catheterization;the "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" needle method is given every other day for 15 treatments. At the end of treatment, the bladder residual urine volume,SF-Qualiveen quality of life score and bladder function score of the two groups of patients were compared, clinical efficacy was determined, and urinary tract infections and acupuncture adverse events occurred during the treatment were counted. Finally, the data was imported into statistical analysis software to evaluate the clinical efficacy of "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" acupuncture treatment of spinal cord injury urinary retention.Results:(1)Comparison of residual urine volume in the bladder: After treatment, the residual urine volume in the two groups was reduced compared with that before the treatment. The "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" group had a greater reduction than the simple intermittent catheterization group, and the difference was statistically significant.(2)Comparison of bladder function score: The bladder function score of both groups decreased after treatment, and the bladder function score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group.(3)SF-Qualiveen score comparison: The quality of life of both groups of patients improved after treatment.Compared with the scores of the two groups, the treatment grouphad a lower score and the quality of life improved to a greater extent.(4)Comparison of clinical efficacy: After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.50%,and the control group was 55.88%.The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.(5)Comparison of incidence of urinary tract infections: during treatment,1 case of urinary tract infection occurred in the treatment group, the infection rate was 3.12%,and14 cases of urinary tract infection occurred in the control group, the infection rate was41.18%.The treatment group can reduce the incidence of urinary tract infection during treatment.(6)Safety evaluation: During the treatment period,2 cases of mild acupuncture-related adverse reactions occurred in the treatment group, and the safety evaluation levels were all grade Ⅱ.After simple treatment, the original regimen can be continued. The remaining 30 patients did not have acupuncture adverse reactions.Conclusion:(1)On the basis of intermittent catheterization, the "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" acupuncture method has a definite effect on the treatment of spinal cord injury urinary retention, and the effect is better than simple intermittent catheterization.(2)The acupuncture method of "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" has few and precise acupuncture points, and has strong operability. While improving the urination function,it can also prevent urinary tract complications, and the clinical advantage is clear.(3)The "Zhibian penetrating Shuidao" acupuncture method is safe and reliable for the treatment of spinal cord injury urinary retention. For patients who have passed the spinal cord shock period, this acupuncture treatment can be carried out as soon as possible to shorten the course of disease and increase the patient’s confidence in rehabilitation. |
