Objective: To summarize the characteristic indexes of US and CEUS in scrotal masses, and to explore the value of CEUS in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of scrotal masses. Methods: 61 scrotal masses of 58 patients were analyzed with pathological results as the gold standard. Results: Among the indicators of US,the maximum diameter of the tumor was >5cm,and the blood flow signal in the tumor had statistical significance(P < 0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in tumor boundary, morphology and internal echo in the diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors(P > 0.05).Among the indicators of CEUS,the contrast enhancement intensity, contrast enhancement uniformity, contrast enhancement mode and regression mode had statistical significance in the diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors(P < 0.05).The difference in the diagnosis of benign and malignant scrotal masses between US and CEUS was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The area under the ROC curve was 0.69 and 0.88,respectively.Binary Logistic regression analysis was conducted to summarize the statistically significant indicators, and the prediction accuracy was 82% and the AUC was 0.916±0.037.To summarize the significant CEUS indexes for the diagnosis of benign and malignant scrotal masses,The findings of CEUS in malignant lesions were mainly rapid/synchronous,uneven and high enhancement and slow regression. Conclusion: US is the preferred method for the examination of scrotal masses, but CEUS can be used as an effective and complementary method for the examination of scrotal masses with suspicious malignant features.US combined with CEUS is of great clinical value in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of benign and malignant scrotal masses.
