| Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of transvaginal non-selective reduction of multiple pregnancies in early pregnancy, the complications and pregnancy outcomes after operation.Method:A retrospective analysis was made of the clinical data of 132 cases of twin or multiple pregnancies reduced to single or twin pregnancies by negative pressure vaginal suction in early pregnancy after IVF-ET assisted pregnancy in the Reproductive Medical Center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2013 to December 2016.A retrospective analysis was made of 342 pregnant women who underwent IVF-ET assisted pregnancies in the reproductive medicine center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University in the first half of 2016 and who did not undergo abortion for single and twin pregnancies. The incidence of complications such as fetal death, first abortion failure, premature rupture of membranes, intrauterine infection and vaginal bleeding were analyzed 72 hours after operation in the experimental group. The average gestational week, abortion rate, premature delivery rate, neonatal mortality rate and birth weight were analyzed between the two groups. In order to reduce the influence of single-twin mixing on the outcome, the group was divided into two subgroups,single-twin and twin, according to the number of births. Results:In this study,no intrauterine infection, persistent vaginal bleeding, maternal coagulation dysfunction and fetal malformations were found in the early pregnant women treated with transvaginal non-selective negative pressure suction. There were no significant differences in preterm birth rate, premature death rate, neonatal weight classification and average neonatal weight between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in preterm birth rate, premature death rate, neonatal weight classification and average neonatal weight between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:As a remedial measure, transvaginal non-selective negative pressure suction for early pregnancy can significantly reduce the proportion of twins or multiple pregnancies due to assisted reproductive technology, which is simple, inexpensive and has good overall effectiveness. The adverse pregnancy outcomes such as abortion, premature delivery and neonatal abortion due to multiple pregnancies were significantly improved. It is not easy to cause persistent vaginal bleeding, intrauterine infection and maternal coagulation dysfunction after operation, and it does not cause fetal malformation and has excellent safety.Single chorionic twins or multiple pregnancies with single chorionic twins have a higher risk of continuing pregnancy.Under specific conditions, timely selection of transvaginal non-selective reduction in early pregnancy is one of the options to reduce the risk. |
