Objective:In recent years,there have been great changes in the number,severity and social impact of doctor-patient dispute complaints in China,which not only brings new challenges and pressure to the medical industry and practitioners,but also affects social harmony.The dispute between doctors and patients is an unavoidable problem for every medical institution.The research aims to study the medical dispute complaints of a hospital in kunshan from 2014 to 2016,to improve the management level of the hospital and establish a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.At the same time,it also provides reference for the management of medical disputes and complaints in similar hospitals.Methods:According to the complaint channel,the medical dispute complaint data received and processed by the doctor-patient communication center of a hospital in kunshan city on January 1,2014 and December 31,2016 were analyzed with the database software Excel.Using retrospective analysis method,from the basic situation,distribution department,complaints reasons for classification,the characteristic of medical disputes,medical disputes handling results,processing methods,the people’s conciliation situation,medical identification(including medical malpractice identification and medical damage appraisal),the court case situation,such as Angle analysis of the data analysis of the causes of the formation of medical disputes and characteristic,Puts forward corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions,Provide the basis for medical dispute prevention.Results:1.From 2014 to 2016,the doctor-patient communication center of the hospital received 368 medical complaints,respectively 94,126 and 148,showing a year-on-year growth trend,with a large increase.In 2015 and 2016,the increase was 34.04%and 17.44%respectively.2.Medical disputes are mainly handled through interpretation,communication and hospital consultation,with 300 cases in 3 years,accounting for 81.52%of the total number of disputes,while 68 cases,accounting for 18.48%of the total number of disputes,are resolved through people’s mediation and court litigation.Among them,the number of consultation within the hospital is basically the same every year,while the number of people’s mediation and court litigation,though small in total,is significantly increased,with an increase of more than 100%every year.3.The department of medical disputes occurred a wide range,a total of 19 departments medical complaints or disputes occurred 3 years,including general surgery,orthopedics,obstetrics,gynecology,emergency department,pediatrics,department of medical is a high-risk departments account for 70.38%of the total number of disputes,disputes and there is the trend of rising year by year,surgical system significantly higher medical dispute system.Comprehensive analysis of the causes of disputes mainly lies in the medical system,medical institutions and medical personnel,patient factors and social factors.In terms of the medical system,there are the reasons for the lack of input and supervision by government departments in the health industry,as well as the existing system of"relying on medicine to support medicine and linking interests ".Cause medical disputes are maiuly concentrated in medical institutions and medical personnel factors,the number of cases occurred 70.95%of the total number of disputes,mainly including the deficiency in the quality management of medical institutions,rules and regulations related to executive force is insufficient,the deficiency in the quality of medical record management,hospital management does not reach the designated position,not for effective coordination between the medical staff,departments and some medical personnel business level is not high,the medical staffs job burmout,and ignore the importance of doctor-patient communication,etc.The main factor of the patient prescription was that the patient did not know medical professional knowledge and had high expectations.The consciousness of right is strengthened and the consciousness of law is weak;Driven by economic interests and other aspects.In addition,the implementation of the tort liability law faces legal risks,the influence of the media and the Internet,some social joint and several contradictions,and the unhealthy tendency in the society is also a factor causing the high incidence of doctor-patient disputes.Conclusion:To reduce the incidence of doctor-patient dispute,it needs the joint efforts of doctors,Patients and society to solve the root cause of doctor-patient conflict.To some extent,doctor-patient dispute reflects the defects in hospital management or medical serviee,which is a valuable management resouree for hospitals.The hospital should establish a patient-centered dispute complaint management mechanism,properly handle and rationally utilize medical complaint disputes,strengthen the internal management of the hospital,improve the quality of medical personnel,constantly improve the quality of medical service,provide safe and high-quality services for patients,and build a good image of the hospital.The governnent departments should provide strong policy support,promote the reform of the medical and health system,improve the laws and regulations of the medical industry,thoroughly solve the root causes of the contradictions between doctors and patients,and build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.The society needs to treat and deal with the doctor-patient relationship rationally and correctly in order to fight against the comnon enemy of disease.
