| Objective:The efficacy and safety of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of anterior ischemic optic neuropathy were observed,so as to achieve the goal of early and middle clinical control of anterior ischemic optic neuropathy and provide new ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:From January 2017 to January 2019 in gansu province during the period of traditional Chinese medicine university affiliated hospital outpatient and hospitalized patients, patients’ informed consent, collected 45-80 years old patients with 46 cases(62 eyes),to conform to the discharge standard of patients, based on the principle of random grouping, divided into needle medicine group, western medicine and Chinese medicine group, the treatment group was given western medicine adenosine cobalt amine,Chinese traditional medicine group was given free adjustment of oral, needle medicine group adopt acupuncture combined oral xiaoyao powder. The visual acuity, visual field(MD,PSD),visual electrophysiology(PVEP),TCM syndrome score and other indicators before and after treatment were observed to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:1.There were no statistical differences in age, gender and general condition among the three groups before treatment,so the study was comparable.2.Compared with the western medicine group, the best corrected visual acuity(logMAR)of the patients was improved after treatment,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.Mean visual field defect(MD)and visual electrophysiology(PVEP)were significantly lower than before treatment, and the peak time of visual electrophysiology P100 was shortened and the amplitude was decreased, all of which were statistically different(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,P<0.05,there were significant differences between the two groups, indicating that the acuity, visual field defect and visual electrophysiological improvement in the acupuncture group was significantly better than that in the western medicine group.3.After treatment, compared with the traditional Chinese medicine group, the patients’ best corrected visual acuity(logMAR),average visual field defect(MD)and visualelectrophysiology(PVEP)were significantly improved, the visual field defect was decreased, the peak time of visual electrophysiology P100 was shortened, and the amplitude was decreased, all of which showed statistical difference(P<0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the visual acuity, visual field defect and visual electrophysiological improvement in the acupuncture group were more significant than those in the traditional Chinese medicine group.4.After the treatment, compared with the western medicine group, the patients’ best corrected visual acuity(logMAR)was improved, the average visual field defect(MD)value was decreased, and the P100 peak of PVEP was shortened compared with that before the treatment, with statistical difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).5.After treatment, the scores of eye symptoms and TCM symptoms in the acupuncture group and the western medicine group were compared, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The eye symptoms of patients in the acupuncture group and the traditional Chinese medicine group were improved compared with those before, and the difference in TCM symptom score was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results also showed that the improvement of MD and logMAR in the acupuncture group was better than that in the traditional Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group.6.The total effective rate was 66.6% in the acupuncture and moxibustion group,53.4%in the traditional Chinese medicine group, and 50% in the western medicine group.Kruskal-wallis statistical analysis showed that P=0.042,(<0.05),indicating that the efficacy of the acupuncture and moxibustion group was better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with medicine can effectively improve the visual field and visual electrophysiology of patients with anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, and optimize the quality of life of patients.2.Acupuncture combined with xiaoyaosan can significantly improve the vision of patients with anterior ischemic optic neuropathy and improve TCM syndromes. |
