| Background and purpose: With the end of the Second World War and the continuous development of the social economy, the global population has grown rapidly, especially the elderly population. At present, the total population of people over the age of 60 has reached 600 million, and the population is aging rapidly. The large number of elderly people has brought a huge burden to the society,so the quality of life of the elderly has received much attention. The phenomenon of coexistence of various chronic diseases is called comorbidity, that is,the elderly often suffer from a variety of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease, and cerebrovascular diseases.Comorbidity not only affects the health of the elderly, but also greatly reduces their quality of life, and it imposes a huge burden on families and society. This study is aimed at elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction, and whether elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction are affected by other comorbid factors, providing valuable experience for clinicians to treat such patients.Research methods: 1.Study object collection: This study collected a total of 301 patients with pneumonia admitted to the Department of Respiratory Medicine of Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University from September 2016 to September 1818.They all combined 2 and 2 chronic diseases.disease.2.Basic data collection: The subjects’ gender,age,height/weight,length of hospital stay,blood/sputum culture, hemoglobin, albumin, and various chronic diseases were collected.3.Statistical analysis: According to 301 cases of elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction: high risk group with cerebral infarction(n=80),low risk group with cerebral infarction(n=41)and control group without cerebral infarction(n=180).Retrospective analysis of whether elderly pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction is affected by other comorbidities.Result:1.There was no significant difference in gender, age and BMI between the elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction and the control group and the elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction and the control group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of hospital stays between the elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction and the control group(P>0.05).There was a significant difference between the elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction and the control group(P=0.004).2.Whether the study group was associated with hypoproteinemia, hypertension, ionic disorder, diabetes, renal insufficiency and G-bacteria infection was significantly different between the elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction and the elderly with pneumonia and cerebral infarction(P <0.05).3.Binary logistic regression results show, hypoproteinemia, diabetes and G-bacteria infection are risk factors for the elderly high-risk group with pneumonia and cerebral infarction. The risk of elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with hypoproteinemia was 2.292 times higher than that of elderly pneumonia patients without hypoproteinemia(OR=2.292,95% CI=1.095~4.797,p=0.028);diabetes The risk of elderly pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction was 2.159 times higher than that of elderly pneumonia patients without diabetes(OR=2.159,95% CI=1.062~4.389,p=0.034);elderly pneumonia with G-infection complicated with cerebral infarction The risk in the high-risk group was 4.467 times higher than that of elderly patients with pneumonia who were not infected with G-(OR=4.467,95% CI=2.332-8.556,p=0.000).Conclusion:1.Elderly patients with pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction are notaffected by general data such as gender, age,BMI,hospitalization days,etc.,2.Patients with low-risk group of pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarctionare not affected by hypoproteinemia, anemia, diabetes, coronary heart disease andthe like.Combined with chronic diseases.3.In patients with high-risk pneumonia complicated with cerebral infarction, hypoproteinemia, diabetes and G-bacteria infection are risk factors for this typeof patients. |
