Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of computed tomography-guided visceral nerve plexus neurolysis in Pancreatic Cancer Pain Management and its Impact on Patients survival. Methods: Patients with pancreatic cancer with cancer pain who were unable to undergo surgical resection in our department from October 2013 to October 2017 were collected. The patients were divided into two groups,.group A(41 cases)was treated with Visceral Nerve Plexus ethanol Neurolysis, while group B(21 cases)was treated with oral opioid drugs. The group A was divided into single destruction group(group S)and repeated destruction group(group R)according to the number of operations.Follow up for at least6 months or until the patient dies.Observe the patient’s pain relief, pain recurrence(group A only)and survival time. Results: The VAS scores and immediate efficacy were statistically significant(P<0.05).The pain recurrence rate was 56.10% in group A.Although the recurrence rate was higher, the average duration of action was 8.05 months. There was no significant difference in survival time between group A and group B(P>0.05).There was no statistical difference in the immediate effectiveness, duration of action and survival of patients with repeated neurolysis and single neurolysis(P>0.05)..Conclusions: Patients with Visceral Nerve Plexus ethanol Neurolysis are superior to those treated with standardized drugs only.More than half of patients with Visceral Nerve Plexus ethanol Neurolysis have recurrence of pain, but overall pain relief is longer,so it still has great clinical significance.Visceral Nerve Plexus ethanol Neurolysis has no significant effect on the survival of patients with pancreatic cancer who cannot be surgically removed. There was no significant difference in the immediate validity,long-term effectiveness, and survival of patients with repeated neurolysis and single neurolysis.
