Objective:To compare the effect of PCEA and PCIA on acute and chronic pain relief and perioperative period after colorectal surgery with ERAS.Methods: Patients who underwent colorectal ERAS surgery under general anesthesia from the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University received ASA grade I-II grade, aged 18-65 years and were randomly divided into PCEA group(E group,n= 22)and PCIA group(group I,n=21).Two groups of patients underwent combined anesthesia, group E received postoperative PCEA analgesia, and group I received postoperative PCIA analgesia. The intraoperative and postoperative analgesic drug use, postoperative VAS scores,BCS comfort scores, and incidence of adverse reactions were recorded.Observe the index of postoperative recovery of intestinal function,as well as the length of hospital stay and hospitalization costs. The incidence of chronic pain after the first 3,and 6 months after operation was followed up.Results:Compared with group I,E group reduced the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting [4(15.4%)cases vs 9(42.9%)cases,P<0.05],and can accelerate postoperative venting time and postoperative influent And eating time [(36.4±39.2)h vs(56.9±29.9)h,P<0.05],[(60.1±46.2)h vs(93.5±42.9)h,P<0.05],[(117.7±59.4)h Vs(168.7±38.9)h,P<0.05].Postoperative hospital stay was significantly shorter in group E than in group I [(9.5 ± 2.3)days vs(12.6 ± 4.6)days,P < 0.05].In terms of postoperative chronic pain, the occurrence of the third month in group E was significantly lower than that in group I [3(15%)cases vs 10(47.6%)cases,P<0.05].Conclusion:Both types of analgesia provide good analgesia, but epidural analgesia can reduce the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting.Epidural analgesia can reduce gastrointestinal side effects and accelerate the recovery of intestinal function, shorten postoperative hospital stay, and can reduce postoperative chronic pain occur.
