Objective Clinical indexes and complications of cirrhosis patients with different types of portal vein thrombosis were analyzed retrospectively,to explore whether there are differences in the effects of PVT on liver function、complications and progression in patients with cirrhosis. Methods Total 449 patients from January 2011 to December 2018 were admitted, after passing inclusion and exclusion criteria,79 patients were selected. On the basis of the classification of thrombus, those patients can be divided into pure main portal vein thrombosis(n=26),portal venous trunk and branch group(n=53),the patient,s general information、clinical manifestation、inspecction index and gastroscope inspection results were record. The t-test was used for comparison of normally distributed continuous data, the Wilcoxon rank sum test was used for comparison of non-normally distributed continuous data between groups, and the chi-square test was used for comparison of categorical data between groups.ResultsCompared with patients in the pure portal venous thrombosis group, patients in the main and branch thrombosis group had higher levels of esophageal and gastric varices(P=0.01)、red signs(P=0.01)、gastrointestinal hemorrhage(P<0.01);Compared with patients in the pure portal venous thrombosis group, patients in the main and branch thrombosis group had lower hemoglobin value(P=0.01)、D dimer(P=0.01);In terms of liver function、Child-Pugh and MELDscore,There were no difference between the two groups.Conclusion1.The degree of gastroesophageal varices in cirrhosis patients with trunk and branch portal vein thrombosis is higher than that with simple trunk thrombosis, and the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding is higher.2.There was no difference in the effects of portal vein thrombosis of different types on liver function in patients with cirrhosis.
