| Objective By analyzing the relationship between dietary five-flavor preference and pelvic organ prolapse(POP),the degree of POP,the location and nature of POP in traditional Chinese medicine, and the correlation between blood sugar, blood lipids, dietary fiveflavor preference and POP,we can provide the basis for the prevention and treatment of POP in clinic.Method 1.Through collecting and sorting out the general situation of the two groups of subjects and the standardized data of the four clinical diagnoses, the traditional Chinese medicine pathological characteristics of POP patients were determined by syndrome differentiation, and the relationship between the five-flavor preference of diet and the incidence of POP,the degree of POP and the pathological characteristics of POP in traditional Chinese medicine was analyzed.2.Blood glucose and lipid(CHO,TG,HDL,LDL)were measured in two groups of subjects who met the inclusion criteria, and the correlation between each index and the occurrence and development of POP was analyzed.Result 1.There was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in five-flavor preference(P<0.05).The scores of sweetness and saltiness in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The frequency of dietary preferences in the experimental group ranged from high to low:sweet, salty,b alanced, acid, spicy and bitter. There were significant differences in the proportion of five flavors preference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).The frequency of dietary preferences in the experimental group ranged from high to low:sweet, salty, balanced, acid, spicy and bitter. There were significant differences in the composition of sweet taste group and salty taste group compared with acid taste group, bitter taste group and bitter taste group(P<0.05).The frequency of dietary preferences in the control group ranged from high to low:sweet, balanced, salty, acid, spicy and bitter.here was significant difference in the composition of bitterness group and other dietary preference group(P<0.05).2.There was no significant difference in the distribution of five-flavor preferences amo ng POP patients with different prolapse degrees in the experimental group(P>0.05).3.There were significant differences in the location of traditional Chinese medicinein t he kidney and liver of POP patients with different dietary preferences(P<0.05).Spleen and liver were the most common sites of acidity and bitterness, while spleen and kidney were the most common sites of bitterness, sweetness and saltiness. There was no significant difference in the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine diseases(P>0.05).4.The levels of GLU and TG in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, while the levels of HDL and LDL in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the levels of CHO between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).5.The levels of GLU,CHO and LDL in POP patients who preferred sweet and salty taste in the experimental group were higher than those in POP patients who preferred other taste(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the levels of T G and HDL among the five flavors of different diets(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in GLU,CHO,TG,HDL and LDL levels between the two groups(P>0.05).6.There was no significant difference in GLU,CHO,TG,HDL and LDL levels among POP patients with different prolapse degrees in the experimental group(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.Most patients with pelvic organ prolapse have a preference for five tastes of diet, mainly sweet and salty, but less for spicy, sour and bitter.2.Dietary preference for five flavors is related to abnormal blood sugar and lipid levels in POP patients. The preference for sweet and salty POP patients has higher levels of blood sugar, total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein.3.Abnormal blood sugar and lipid levels are related to the occurrence of pelvic organ prolapse. |
