Objective: To compare the clinical symptoms of patients treated with budesonide suspension or metronidazole sodium chloride injection during functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and to study and analyze the curative effect of different drugs combined with tamponade in order to explore the clinical work Better treatment options, with a view to reducing postoperative discomfort. Methods: 90 eligible cases were selected, and the patients were randomly divided into 3 groups according to the order of admission time.Perform standard perioperative care and record general information. Two drugs combined nasal packing48 h after operation, recording nasal bleeding after the stuffing and nasal odor within one week after operation. The symptoms such as nasal obstruction and nasal discharge, and intracavity were recorded within 3 months after operation The VAS score and endoscopic Lund-Kennedy score were accordingly evaluated.preoperative and postoperative data collected were statistically processed,P <0.05 was statistically significant. Results: The budesonide group had statistically significant differences in the prevalence of nasal congestion, runny nose, nasal itching, sneezing, and nasal surface pain within one week after surgery(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant only in nasal pain. There was no significant difference between the three groups in the symptom of cough and olfactory drop and in all the four weeks, six weeks and three months after operation(P> 0.05)The advantage of budesonide group was statistically significant only one week after operation compared with the other two groups(P <0.05),and There was a significant difference in the metronidazole group compared with the budesonide group in the control of nasal odor within one week after operation(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in bleeding between the three groups when the stuffing was pulled out(P> 0.05).Conclusions: The combination of budesonide suspension and padding can relieve the early postoperative discomfort and to some extent improve the quality of life of patients.Metronidazole has no statistical advantage in improving nasal odor within one week after surgery,in general budesonide combined with packing on the improvement of the early symptoms of patients have some advantages,it is worth promoting the clinical application.
