Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Yirenhuajifang in the prevention of recurrence of colorectal polyps by observing the clinical efficacy and recurrence of polyps in patients with intestinal dampness and heat syndrome after operation, and to explore the preventive effect of Yirenhuajifang On the recurrence of colorectal polyps. In order to prevent the recurrence of colorectal polyps to provide an effective treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.Method The 82 patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method.General data, colonoscopy and pathological types were recorded, and safety indicators such as blood routine, urine routine, fecal routine + occlusive blood, liver and kidney function were examined. The observation group was treated with Yirenhuajifang for 3 months on the 3rd postoperative day;the control group was given no drugs to prevent recurrence of polyps after the operation, and the patient was treated promptly if there were special circumstances. The patients in the two groups were reviewed for TCM symptom scores and safety indicators at 3 months postoperatively, and colonoscopy was performed at 6 months and 12 months to record the recurrence of polyps.Result1.In the observation group, the main symptom scores and total symptom scores were decreased before and after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant change in the main symptom scores and total symptom scores before and after 3 months in the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.Reexamination of colonoscopy 6 months after polypectomy showed that there were 4 patients with polyp recurrence in the observation group, accounting for 9.76%,and 9 patients with polyp recurrence in the control group, accounting for 21.96%,with no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05).Reexamination of colonoscopy 12 months after polypectomy showed that 10 patients in the observation group had polyp recurrence, accounting for 24.39%,and 19 patients in the control group had polyp recurrence, accounting for 46.34%.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).In this study, the recurrence rate of polyps in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group. In terms of the risk factors of polyp recurrence, the recurrence rate of adenomatous polyps was higher than that of non-adenomatous polyps(P < 0.05),and there was no significant correlation between the number of polyps and polyp recurrence(P > 0.05).3.The safety results showed that no adverse reactions were found during the treatment, and no abnormal changes were found in blood, urine, fecal routine, liver function and renal function before and after treatment. Conclusion The treatment of colorectal polyps after treatment of colorectal polyps with Yirenhuajifang is reliable and has no obvious toxicity and side effects, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients.and reduce the recurrence rate of colorectal polyps after operation.
