Design And Implementation Of Distributed Medical Information Management System Based On Blockchain

The information system established by the current hospital is independent and private,and there will be “islands” between the hospitals.In addition to the normal registration,payment and printing of payment bills,the patient’s operation of the medical information system has no way to know more about the medical information that has been generated about himself.When patients are seen in different hospitals and even in different places,there is no past medical history as a reference.Under such circumstances,the effect of “information island” is amplified,and the previously accumulated medical data is “no value”.Patients are unable to fully grasp the information retained in the medical information system,and at the same time generate privacy and security concerns.Based on the problems presented by the current medical information system,this paper proposes a distributed medical information system based on blockchain.As a popular distributed storage form,blockchain has obvious advantages in security and information sharing control.Each hospital can participate in the alliance chain as a node,which can synchronize the information set and improve information flow.The system is divided into four levels: user layer,application layer,blockchain layer and data layer.Both the patient and the doctor in the user layer access the system through the webpage;each module of the application layer is responsible for business control,and performs data interaction with the other three layers;the blockchain layer is responsible for storing the encrypted key medical data and comparing the reading permission level of the information;the data layer is divided into two parts,IPFS and Mysql,and the objects and functions of the two services are different.As a combination of blockchain and medical information,this system provides a solution for the problems existing in the current medical system through emerging technologies,further enhancing the flow and security of information,let users have more control over their own information.
