Objective : Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 112 compound congenital heart disease(CCHD)children who received simultaneous transcatheter intervention in our institution. To access the safety and efficacy of simultaneous transcatheter intervention in children with CCHD.Method: This study retrospectively analyzed that a series of 112 children diagnosed with CCHD in our institution from Jan 2007 to Jul 2015 and who received simultaneous transcatheter interventional therapy. These children included 33 patients with ventricular septal defect(VSD)and atrial septal defect(ASD),28 patients with ASD and pulmonary stenosis(PS),21 patients with ASD and patent ductus arteriosus(PDA),22 patients with VSD and PDA,6 patients with PS and PDA,1 patient with VSD and PS,1 patient with ASD、PDA and PS.Percutaneous balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty(PBPV)was performed before the closure of VSD,PDA,or ASD.Electrocardiogram and transthoracic echocardiogram were examined at 1 day,1,3,6months after each procedure respectively. Results: Simultaneous transcatheter interventional therapy for CCHD was successfully performed in all patients. The peak-to-peak transpulmonary gradient decreased from 47.9±21.7 mmHg to 11.3±8.4mmHg(p<0.001)in patiens with ASD and PS.2 patients had severe complications, the rest had no serious complications during follow-up.Conclusion:Our retrospective analyses of 112 patients with CCHD indicated that simultaneous transcatheter interventional therapy was effective and safe.
