Background and Objective: The ascites is one of the most common complication after liver resection,if it was not treated actively it may recurrent and persistent and affect the prognosis of patients. The recent literatures about the ascites after liver resection increased, but the research on the influence factors of persistent ascites is still few,so this article aims to collect the clinical date to statistical analysis the risk factors of the persistent ascites after liver resection and provide a thought about treatment of postoperative persistent ascites to improve the patient’s prognosis. persistent ascites.Method: collected the clinical data of the first affiliated hospital of Chongqing medical university department of hepatobiliary surgery since2013-01 to 2018-01 in who had done liver resection, and divided the data into cases of persistent ascites and not persistent ascites groups according to the situation of the postoperative ascites. And univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the factors that may affect the ascites elongation.Result: Logistic regression univariate analysis showed thatpostoperative vein thrombosis, preoperative thrombocytopenia, hepatitis B antigen positive,child-pugh grade B,primary disease was malignant tumor, history of smoking and drinking, and history of diabetes had statistical differences(P < 0.05)。 Multivariate analysis showed that postoperative portal vein thrombosis(OR=8.434,P < 0.001)was an independent risk factor for persistent ascites. Conclusion: Portal vein thrombosis after hepatectomy is an important independent risk factor for persistent ascites,we should be aware of the complications of portal vein thrombosis associated with persistent ascites.
