| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Maguihuayin Decoction on AECOPD(External Cold and Internal Drinking Syndrome)and its effect on serum CRP.Methods:Seventy-eight patients with AECOPD(External Cold and Internal Drinking Syndrome)were selected from the respiratory department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 39 cases in each group. The treatment group was given Maguihuayin decoction, while the control group was given Xiaoqinglong granule orally for10 days. The changes of clinical symptoms, pulmonary function, neutrophil count,CRP and safety were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.The curative effect of Maguihuayin Decoction on AECOPD(External Cold and Internal Drinking Syndrome)is remarkable, the total effective rate is 89.47%,and the effect of the treatment group is obviously better than that of the control group(P<0.05),with no adverse reactions.2.Maguihuayin Decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, especially in coughing, wheezing, phlegm ringing in larynx and limb pain(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in pulmonary function between the two groups before and after treatment(P >0.05).4.The neutrophil count of both groups decreased before and after treatment, and the effect of treatment group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).5.Both groups of drugs can reduce the level of CRP in patients. There is statistical significance between pre-treatment and post-treatment groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Maguihuayin Decoction has remarkable clinical efficacy in treating AECOPD(External Cold and Internal Drinking Syndrome). It can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients, especially in coughing, wheezing, phlegm ringing in the throat, limb ache and no adverse reactions.2.Maguihuayin Decoction can effectively reduce neutrophil count and serum CRP level in patients with AECOPD(External Cold and Internal Drinking Syndrome). |
